  • 11 OUT OF 10.

  • Wow !! I still remember this song and finally find it here.

  • ma quanti cazzo di anni ha questa canzone?

  • It is sad they had to split, due to Thereza Bazar finding David with his head in her washing basket. I am sure, there was a perfectly reasonable explanation for this and they could have then continued with Dollar.

  • Three people must be choosing Gaga and Bieber over the better sound of the late 70s.

  • I got my mum to bleach my hair blonde, I wanted to look like David, she went through with it I was 10, shocked them at school. I was brown like he was as well.

  • Pleasant, romantic song by an underrated group - or duo, i should say.

I have no idea what Mr van Day and Ms Bazaar look like now - at the age of around 52 or thereabouts - but back in 1979, they were EXCEPTIONALLY good-looking young people. I think that i can state that without fear of contradiction !

  • what happend to them? so sweet

  • Ahhh, that's such a lovely song!

  • Geourgous!!

  • beautiful song

  • I have always been a huge fan of Dollar since their seventies heyday, so that they are nowadays a source of fond nostalgia. This is one of my fave Dollar songs. It is very characteristic of their sound.

  • superb

  • My friends make fun of me because I STILL like this song... But I do... I suppose one might say this song has a hold of my heart...

  • what a sweet song,thanks

  • it certainly takes u back, look at those 80s hairstyles.............fantastic

  • They spilt 'cause David used to spilt her dirtbox with his 9 inch, one eyed torpedo

  • At first I wondered who the blonde woman next to Thereza was....

  • I remember this song being played on radio 2 when i came home from school david hamilton presented the show great days

I wonder where she is today

  • Dollar revival, anyone? If it wasn't for Burgerboy in the jungle, where would this be? MORE, MORE, MORE!!!

  • Jude has great memories of Screwy in the disco in Templemore. Followed closely by an interesting trip to the woods. Oh happy dase x

  • Produced by Trevor Horn (Buggles), nice duo; sad to hear how thing end up. Is she still singing..anybody know?

  • This song you will find was pre Trevor Horn days back in September 1979. The song was produced by Christopher Neil, a prolific late 70s and early 80s producer (Sheena Easton, Marshall Hain, etc).

  • "Love's Gotta Hold On Me" was Dollar's 3rd hit single. It peaked at #4 on the UK single chart in September 1979.

  • is that 2 birds?? that must be a wig on burger van day

  • What a fantastic comment, so anachronistic it could have been straight from the 70s LOL

  • OMG..been looking for this song forever!!!..Don't really know much about them but this song has stuck in my head for so many years and I did not know who sung it until now. Greeting from Thailand.

  • I forgot just how many records they actually made,

  • Stylistically, wow! I loved Dollar, I'd actually forgotten what they looked like - he looks super effeminate - not a bad thing, but gosh, I'd forgotten - that's all. Lovely song, brings back memories - my first boyfriend and I danced to this..aah!

  • Really sweet, beautiful song. I always liked the quality of Thereze's voice. David's hair is just inexcusable though :)

  • David has the great natural good lucks , theresa looks a little nerdy under her vast make up. I fancy david here.

  • lovely chill out song. have you got 'i need your love' by them. can't find it anywhere

  • nice song ...

  • It was such a catchy love song with sweet lyrics. Who doesn't want to have someone they love to wake up beside them on the bed and watch the morning sun sprinkle on their love one face.

  • I was always dead jealous of Thereze Bazar coz I used to fancy Dave Van Day. I loved this song. Thanks for posting it

  • I was always jealous of David cos i fancied Thereze lol

  • Er, I was always jealous of me cos I fancied the pair of 'em...

  • Dollar are my favourite band and I love this song!

  • Well, that was nauseating.

  • yet you viewed it lol

  • well don't you have to watch something before giving an opinion? That's the logical procedure.

  • the most under rated fantastic piece of cheese ever. thanks for posting it.
