The holocaust was a very well known story before anyone had heard of Hitler or the National Socialists movement. Google the term "the crucifixion of the jews must stop" and you will find a newspaper article from 1919 about the 6 million jews who died in the holocaust. The holocaust story is a lot older than people think.
