  • Even though your heels aren't down and your stirrups are to long, your leg is very tight, and seems to only move when you are using you leg or spur (couldn't tell if you were wearing one or not). Your horse jumps amazingly!

  • U make that look easy

  • good seat there, kinda jelly. and ive been riding 13 years, you got a good little teammate there ;)

  • haha you did just fine!

it doesnt really look likes he's jumping the wing though.

  • Looks so effortless!

  • Good job! I wouldn't have been able to do that, but heels! Keep 'em down! I learned the hard way.... Don't fall!!!!!

  • he makes it look so easy!

  • I think you did very very well who ever is posting bad comments are simply profectionists and want to show everyone else they know how to jump a horse *rolles eyes*

  • Very good rider! I wouldve lost my stirrups anyway if they were that long like yours haha ur like standing on your tippy toes!(: haha I love how horses speed up right before the jump and like run for it

  • your a very good rider! & your horse is very pretty!

  • Je springt goed op tijd ! ;) mooi gesprongen mooi paard !

  • I think you jump pretty well:)

The only thing that really annoys me, and you haven't said in the description,

is that you are really bouncing in the saddle in galop.

Try to work on it because I think your horse would be much happier when you stay seated:D

    But the jump looks amazing!:D

  • Opps *:)

  • He has the most beautiful jump ever! Loveee it:(

  • o.O wow ! es sieht aus als würde das Pferd drüber fliegen ! : )

  • oh my god thats amazing!! so cool how it looks like he's not got enough canter and then he just launches himself :P nice horse.....your a super brave rider too!

  • How high is that He looks gr8

  • he says, "ok mum!" he makes it look so easy :')

  • I wish I could do that.

  • i could careless if my heels are down going over loose rails like that. going over solid fences, then yes. you shouldnt need stirrups to ride, the only reason they are there for jumping is to pull your horse up if it trips. yes, you can pull a horse back up, seen it many times and i have done a few. position doesnt win medals or ribbons in jumping. well ridden!

  • i love his tail xD haha its soooo cuute :3

  • You have an amazing horse there! And yours a really good rider :) dont listen to haters, there only jealous cos they arent as good as you two that's all :)

  • Pretty good for that height and long stirrups!

  • nice horse!

  • people on here are so annoying. obviously they are jealous of your sexy horse and amazing riding!

  • You look amazing anyone or horse who can jump that height is an amazing rider and has great talent well done

  • the only thing that bothers me here is that you don't put your heals down...

  • So sorry about all the negative comments! You and your horse are an amazing pair! Wish I could do that!

  • youre horse jumps funny

  • I am honestly really surprised at all of the negative comments! I think he looked pretty good! I mean... so maybe he isnt a hunter... big deal, most horses couldnt do that height if they had wings! I think he looked rly good in this one tho! nice job!

  • I love how he jumps,he like pauses in the air and then comes down. I love that.

  • amasing! the horse jumps over it like its nothing! AWESOME! U RULE!

  • Your practically jumping it with no irons cuz ur stirrups are long. Good job!

  • flyyyy! so cute :]]

  • How high is that

  • I love how hes just all "Come on mom this aint no issue" *BOING~* Hahaha. you two are beautiful together! keep up the good work!

  • hey u r really good :) i wish i was good i can only jump 60

  • Personally I think you were amazing! ignore the hater.. they are only jealous that you have such a beautiful talented horse!

  • seriously - your position is awesome and your horse clears that with ease

we're not all George Morris here guys, look at her leg (it doesnt swing back at all) so she's obviously using her calf and thigh... and she totally stays out of her horses way over the whole jump and landing. Lay off her EQ

  • omg. why are people critting you?

    I think its amazing!

Your horse is beautiful and your position obveously isnt going to be perfect at that hight.. but its pretty damn good!

    looool, people are crazy!x

  • love this, he has such an amazing jump!!:) x

  • What a rider....most people do know but it takes alot of courage to do that i am 12 and i dream of being in hoys pony foxhunter championships and blue chip newcomers and i havent even jumped a 1m yet xx<3

  • Advise: Your horse is a good Jumper, and you are riding your horse good, but maybe the horse could walk more active. Then he jumps higher and better, and it looks nicer. Sorry for my bad English ;)

  • Some advise : release your hands a bit more :), everything else looked great you have a nice position and nice horse :D oh and lean back slightly more on landing and it might prevent you collapsing on landing :)

  • I just got my first and i wish i could jump like that, he looked so relaxed about it. Are there any tips you could give me about jumping ?

  • Least you can jump, if I jump my horse she would go lame from it, due to previous injury, i'm starting dressage instead.

  • just prooves to jump a big jump doesnt meen you have t enter it fast :)

  • I'm 11 and I can jump that , awesome...:D Awesomee jumping:L

  • i dont understand what every is being so critical about it... you acknowledge the faults and what needed to be worked on... and that horse jumped effortlessly! he made it look like a cinch and he'd been doing it his entire life... seriously.. gorgeous horse!

  • naww his ears at the end XD chess does that when hes galloping cuz he hates wind in his ears XD your horse jumps realy well :)

  • their is one thing that i notices at the end.

The horses ears were fully glued to the back of his head was he enjoying the jumps or was it just pure concentration haha i know a lot of horses that point their ears backward while being very concentrated.

  • WOW that was heaps high!! awesome!

people are so judgemental putting nasty comments while.. haha they are the ones just sitting on their fat asses judging people..

    you did an awesome job!

  • yeehaa, welldone, may i ask, is your saddle a Poessa? is so, what style?! (:

  • Your coming up to the jump well, but I can see what people mean about collecting him up. Over such a big jump you need to - probably you have started to do that \ are doing that. More collected I would presume he should make a better shape, and so it would be easier for you to lean. I would suggest from this video to stay at the metres for now, to get a feeling of the collection, but I woud say you have advanced alot since this was posted ^^

Don't listen to this Ellen Whitaker wanna-bes"

  • omg leave her alone?

Just appreciate how her horse is jumping this big, and stop obsessing her position, sometimes it seems like people into horses are all about critiquing other people, it's not! Surely you should compliment her on jumping a jump this big, staying on and how amazing her horse looks?

  • you're nice to him but he is too much out of balance and doesn't jump using his back over the jump. you should work on that

  • dont listen to the crit, you look fab! some of the comments of this video are so funny .. x

  • i love how he just casually rocks up and pops it like it's a bucket or something, he's such a good jumper and you're so good together! such a team, you guys will go so far

  • hey

great jump. i know this is old so your probs much better but try some take off poles he'll make a better shape over the fence :)

  • Blimey! That horse has one heck of a jump!!! Great riding btw :) x

  • I think your riding is good there but obiously a few mistakes i bet most of the people who comment can't ride and like to put peoples feelings down so just take no notice!!!! :D

  • Hes amazing, you're amazing, don't bother with the idiots :) x

  • @Thysielove no it's not. cant be arsed to even replie clearly not read the description properly. blocked and removed.

  • You are an amazing rider! xx

  • Now, I could be wrong, But before a jump don't you want to kind of collect your horse so his hindquarters would be underneath him?

  • i personaly think you rode your pony over that fence every well and your the boss of your self and i think your stirrups were fine and heels.

  • good job on having the guts to jump that height in the first place! your position was better than 99.9% of the jumpers on here so keep going, you and ur horse are amazing :) x

  • Half the people who bash this probably have never even seen that height. You look amazing here even if it was a year ago! Hes a handsome boy :)

  • Omg he jumps it soo easily jelouse :P

  • Awesome position. Looks awesome. And to everyone complaining about stirrup length, seriously, if you have ever jumped, then you have jumped with too long stirrups. Its trial and error tp find the right length.

  • You need some shorter stirrups... your heels are horrible sry to say....

And how high is that jump??? 100 cm? 120 cm?

  • omg you and your horse are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

  • You And Your horse Are amazing.. :)

Some people seriously neeed to get a life :)

  • I can totally understand how you dont want "advise" from all the teenage wannabe olympia stars who have not even owned a horse themselves not to speak of jumping on this kind of level!

you know your faults i think thats great! and I´d love to see some more vids of you and your horse! you both seem like very capable couple!

    btw i like the saddle

  • you're actually a really good rider! one thing i would say (to help you) is to try and lower your hands on the way into the jump, i know it's not easy on all horses, my new mare just seems to make everyone's hands come up, we dont know why but my instructor has the same problem when riding her but apart from that, really nice riding and i love your horse! :D

  • He's beautiful :3 So what if your stirrups were long, in my opinion if you're riding a frisky horse when jumping it help you to stay on, and man you have guts! I only do this when playing Chase Me Charlie! xD

  • OMG I LOVE HIS TAIL!!! <3

  • I know when I see a connection between horse and rider, and I saw one while watching you with your horse. You two ride beautifully . Honestly even with your heals out of place, for you to stay on and not get left behind or anything else you have a great seat! You know what you're doing! Great video, very impressed!

  • ur an amazing jumper even though ur heels r down ur position is pretty good

  • You have a beautiful horse! And this is certainly a big jump! I would give you some pointers but after reading the description I understand you probably have gotten better and you dont need another comment saying the same thing 999,999,999 other people said. So I just gotta say nice horse and don't listen to these ding-dongs saying crap bout your horse and you. ^-^

  • if you put a video on youtube globally, then you have to accept the reactions. You can't just expect everyone to tell you what a cute talented horse you have and what an awesome rider you are. If you can't take criticism, that's your problem, yes even if you get twenty mails every day... just accept it and don't cry

  • wow x cute pony xx

  • i don't think your heels are bad at all! i mean everyone rides in long stirrups once in a while. don't worry. :) He's a cutiee!

  • Hi im hannah im 12.......that horse is the coolest jumper ever i am at beginner at jumping my first jump was 60's but i had a bit of trouble trying to get the horse 2 jump it then he leapeddd over it nd bucked me twice didnt fall of though this video gives me lots of confidence thank you :) xx

  • @engelangelica there's a difference between criticism and advise. you don't even know me so how can you judge? haha good luck in life with your judgemental attitude :)

  • @engelangelica

I consider "critique" from a bunch of 14 year olds on youtube pretty invalid.

  • @engelangelica no it just means that she probably has her own instructor that she pays to help her and she doesn't need a million youtube teachers who probably have never rode in their lives but certainly know everything about the horse and rider after a minute long video.

  • @engelangelica Giving out unwanted critique = you think you're better than everyone. What a shit attitude xd

  • @bandita1408 jelous much? wheres the vids of you and your horses jumping over this height? hahaha.

  • how big is it? not being negative!!!!!!!!!!!!! just asking

  • @xxmegan06xx Well said! It's all jealousy!

  • @bandita1408 that wasn't a jump? okkkkk you go jump that yeah we'll see.

  • he has a gorgeous jump :D great ride & he shows no effort over that fence!

  • What a graceful jump, you rode him brilliantly :D x

  • he has a really good jump.

  • thats not how you change a rein:-S (going the opposite way)

  • whats with your heels?

  • jumping in spurs, eurgh

  • @nathalieaura urmmmmm look at all the top eventers, i think you'll find they all ride in spurs, you kinda need to when your jumping that big, when you can show us that you jump that big then people might listen..

  • Lovely horse, loads of power!

  • i think your goona need some bigger wings... ;) x

  • He makes tha look sooo easy!

  • what breed is he? hes amazingg! you ride so well.

  • ahaah you make it look so easy :D

  • just take your leathers up a couple of holes cos your heels are slipping up. great job, it isnt exactly a breeze jumping this height, and you did really well! :D

  • @thrillofriding I agree but if u watch FEI or something like it then you will see that most top show jumpers have long stirrups :) and she is proberly trying to spur him on :D

  • He looks so cute when he jumps and has some awesome hang time!!!!

  • ummmm, heels down please:p

  • wow thats really god! just a piece of advice: i would put your stirrups quite of a bit, since they are super long. it could explain why heals keep popping up :) just my advice, ignore if you want :P

  • easy !!! (as in da horse jumped it easy) :P

  • lol, this girl in the comments battle is very interesting in her views on your riding...

In any event, it's totally not my place to say, as you're a much better rider than I am, but the heels! They make me nervous! I've been dragged and watched my students get dragged many times, having heels up makes me antsy. But LOVELY job with this horse, I can tell she's not an easy ride!

  • owow you are a very cool rider :) keep going :))

  • The only time I find myself reading the comments because their quite interesting! ;)

    BTW: Your a awsome rider.

  • i remember the time that Ellen Whitaker came on here just to comment on your video Megan. When i went on her youtube there was only a video of her torturing a guinea pig though WTF???

  • @cassehbbz LOL Legend!! LOVE YOU xxxxxxx

  • @xxmegan06xx love you back beeeeatch!!! remember to stop these backstreet abortions though!!!

  • @cassehbbz what was Ellens account name? or where and what video did she comment? i wanna see this haha!

  • @jazfletcher95 it was madgirl and a random number! She is a lunatic though! its on this vid somewhere and also on one of mines when i was riding jojo !

  • THAT HORSE MAKES it look soooo easy

  • @equestriancrazy94 Learn to fucking cuss will ya

  • If she enjoyed it, stayed on, and the horse wasn't hurt, then where's the bloody problem?! I'd love to see all you people bitching jump that height with perfect position.

Well done girl, keep doing what you and your horse love! x

  • you seriously need more heel, alot better equitation, and a real trainer before you even attempt to jump this height. this type of "backyard riding" where no one involved knows what theyre doing is seriously bad for your horse's well-being

  • @madgirl1191 You a broken record? Shut up, she can do what she wants.

  • @kDOTsProductions Actually im not a broken record ive been training and competing at reputable horse shows for over 13 years so i know what im talking about and these "backyard riders" who have little to no formal training makes me sick to watch because they have no idea how to properly ride and control their horses (not to mention they endanger their horses) then they wonder why they never place in shows when competing against people like me, it's sad really cause they dont even stand a chance.

  • @madgirl1191 Actually you sound like you're bragging about yourself. She's riding just fine.

  • @kDOTsProductions how am i bragging? simply because im telling the truth about my riding background

  • @madgirl1191 She, isnt you. So stop telling her how to ride..She already knows how to, this isnt a show. And shes not doing anything wrong that could harm her horse.

  • @kDOTsProductions 1.) the footing is horrible the arena needs to be drug and the footing needs to be deeper, thats how shes endangering her horse. 2.) when he lands shes slamming down on his back so clearly she doesnt know how to ride. 3.) someone needs to take all of the trash out of the arena, cones for example, who needs cones to ride unless you have steering issues.

  • @madgirl1191 If the arena was any deeper you would be riping tendons left right and center you stupid cow. why are you still here???? She is not slamming down on his back atall thats nonsense. And for your information those cones were being used by a child who was getting a lesson earlier on in the day. Megan didnt feel the need to remove them because she doesnt have steering issues so wouldnt find it a problem steering around them.

  • @madgirl1191 Really... shows how much you know because Milo places at every show and WINS most of them . You have no idea what you are talking about. So what if its not the way you ride. The horse is doing its job and its happy. I think its time you leave this conversation now!!!! Because nobody gives a shit what you think. IF your so great and so amazing. Why are you sitting on youtube and not away competing then??? your full of nonsense love.

  • @madgirl1191 Hey go and play with your hamster.

  • @madgirl1191 you seriously need to not post the same comment twice and you seriously need to mind your own!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cassehbbz hah you talk about me posting the same comment twice you left three. second of all i am currently not competing because i have a broken wrist & also i believe you when you say the horse places but you guys are all like backyard riders so its not like your competing at any rated shows like devon, monmouth, june fete or Hits on the Hudson. oh and lastly dumbass my "hamster" is not a hamster at all but rather she is a guinea pig. show how much you know idiot.

  • @madgirl1191 i didnt post the same comment.... unlike your self. No offence. infact yeah offence.. what age are you? because you sound about 5 in your video. Have u competed at any of these shows?? and did you break your wrist falling off a horse by any chance? because thats just hilarious if thats the case.

  • @cassehbbz im not telling you my age but imcertainly not 5 unlike your immature self, second i have competed in all of those and placed very well, how i broke my wrist is none of your buisness but it was not a horse related accident seriously hop off cause you wernt even in this conversation in the first place

  • @madgirl1191 are you an old lady then?? im in this conversation now because im fed up of arseholes like yourself coming on and being bloody rude to people. If thats what makes you feel good then thats fine but you made a huge mistake by bringing your hatred onto this video.

  • @cassehbbz arsehole really? its called an asshole sweetie. im not being rude i was just looking out for her and her horses well being.

  • @madgirl1191 not where i come from and dont call me sweetie either. Just keep going. Everyone can see how pathetic you are! Horse rider of the year we got here guys HAHAHA! think you need to stop commenting you are making a fool of yourself.

  • @madgirl1191 and you were VERY rude. Completely insulting someones whole way of riding. That is VERY rude.

  • @madgirl1191 Ok, one, in the UK, we say Arsehole as well as Asshole - so congratulations on once again demonstrating your utter ignorance in the differences between our countries.

Secondly, take 2 seconds to crawl OUT your own arse, and take a look around. This is the world, and it does not revolve around you. Some people don't NEED to go out competing at national (or international) shows to be good, even fantastic, riders. For them, it's in the RIDING, not the competing or showing off.

  • Respond to this video... Ps. big shot wanna come and try and ride Milo yourself?? would be funny to see how long you last.

  • @madgirl1191 of course we havn't been to any of them shows love considering we live in the uk not america. and yeah iv compeated my pony at the biggest horse show in scotland (royal highland show) a pony i produced myself so what ever, people like you make me sick brag on their this that and the next thing but have no videos to prove this.. atleast if your gonna slate have some balls to put up videos of your own riding.

  • @madgirl1191 continuing on from my last comment, iv had lessons with british showjumping accredited coaches who think im doing well with this horse considering whats happened with this horse before i got him, so i dont really care what some random youtuber thinks. your probably just some riding school kid whos jumping cross poles. go back to annoying your guniea pig cause nobody cares what you have to say.

  • @madgirl1191 Just leave her alone, let her do what she wants. Like your really going to make a difference by being rude.

  • you seriously need more heel, alot better equitation, and a real trainer before you even attempt to jump this height

  • Pretty pony xx and really good jumping lol ;-)

  • Milo is such a sweetie, can tell he's really bringing you on! Don't take this as crit ok, but try and stick your heels down and sit up a lot more on landing, if he trips, it could end up as a nasty accident x

  • i love how 8 people like a comment where "heels" isn't even spelt correctly!

fab riding, i love milo (and jojo)

wishing you a fab 2011 and a happy new year!

    xxxx

  • hay, I just wanted to say let her / him a bit longer rampant, then it works better with the landing (sorry my english is not so good)

  • Heals down...... :D other wise i could never ever ever jump that high!!! LOL :D

  • GO MILEY :) :) :) what a star!

  • well done chick :) x

  • Megan. this makes me so happy to see. :) ever since I had to sell him, iv always cared what he is up to and how happy he is. and since you have had him, spent the time with him to get his confidence and enjoy all his work again, I have completely relaxed, and know he is genuinely happy and well cared for. he was amazing with me, and now shows how amazing he is with you. do not listen to any negative comments people decide to throw at you about how you ride him and what you do. I know him well e

  • @jadeebaby thanks jade xx

  • Sorry But Why Are People Crittig You :L I Mean Your Not Getting Left Behind,Milos Going Into It Lovely,You Didnt Knock It Down Or Have A Stop,You Give With Your Hands And Your Legs Arent Sliding Back So Whats Their Problem ? None Of Them Jump Anyway Near This Hight :P xxxxx

  • I'm in love with this horse; you and him are the perfect couple <3

  • aw i actually love his jump :) he just pings everything as though it's nothing big :) xx

  • urgh can't believe people are giving you criticism for this. gorgeous jump he just pinged over it! :] fantastic. at the end of the day it doesn't matter who owned him before you- that's in the past. i'm not saying they weren't good riders because they were, but he's yours now, and you are doing a fab job with him. people need to butt out, seriously. xxxx

  • Lovely :)

  • WTF WHY THE HELL ARE PEOPLE CRITTING YOU FOR THIS, you both look AMAZING tbh :) well done xxx

  • one word

    wow

  • He's like "mum, this is too easy" haha. Looking great. :D

  • He Make It Look So Easy :D <3 You Both Look Amazing :') xxxxx

  • Can i please use this in a video im making i will send you a link when im done ? x

  • talk about clearing it with ease .... wow xxx

  • very well done! You two fit great together

  • aww meg you've done so well with his confidence, we all know that if milo didn't wanna jump, he wouldn't! and he doesn't look like he's even thinking about stopping!! i dont get why people crit positions and stuff cos if you weren't getting him over the jump there'd be no position to improve on lool and its great anyway!!! hehe xxxx

  • he's like it's too easy mum haha!! x

  • dont see how people can still crit after watching these clips! seriously it doesnt matter who has owned milo all that matters is that megan is doing an incredible job with him! u both look stunning and i love the fact that you dont need to do internationals etc to prove that your brilliant because you already are :) <3 x

  • luv ur ridin and horse he is so cute and so energetic he just pops over it like its nothin AMAZING how could any one say anything bad bout him hes sooo adorable
