I have a co-worker who drives a Cadillac Escalade and seats squeaks, the panel has a feeling of pure plastic, buttons come off and feels like something made for a toy and so on. The mechanic in the car is fine but the finish, just to make it premium isn't just there. Another has an STS and its the same there. My S5 is SOLID everywhere, super silent with no irritating sound. Had both BMW and Audi for years and only one car (bmw) was a disaster. Sorry for my bad english.

People still thinking buying a so named American brand vehicle has shit to do with patriotism are in need of a realty check. EVERY brand vehicle in the US is made by an international manufacturer. This isn't 1970 something there is no import vs domestic. Buy quality where you find it. They are all assembled of worldwide suppliers where they keep the office is trivial. GM does more business in China than anyone. Oddly enough it doesn't mean shit if the product is competitive

for a used vette that was 34K it would be 1/8 price. 272/8=34. base corvettes start at 48K so it is somewhere b/w 1/5-1/6. I agree with you completely on principle but I figured I would defend my math since you called me out on it :). I'm actually a huge GM fan and will continue to be so long as they make great cars. my 96 buick regal GS has 160K miles on original motor and tranny. Still going strong!

My buddy and neighbor has the "standard" Continental GT and it is more than fast enough, more comfortable and looks 98% like this one.

Not to mention is cost almost $100,000 less.

Also when we go out to the club, we can actually leave with 2 girls in the car because his model has back seats.
