@TheStickey8 Thank You. Time crawled, but it is in the past. I'll need to squeeze out a video, hopefully I can unbox one of my sequentially serial numbered Tier III 1911s next Saturday and film it. At Oh Dark Thirty next Sunday Morning, 11 DEC 2011, Wife and I are headed to Fairfax, VA. These videos take ALOT of time! Whew! Anyway, glad you like the videos. I'll do the best I can to put out some more in the coming weeks before I start getting passed around like a bottle of cheap wine again. :)
@WheelchairDave1031 Thank You, Sir! Yessir, that is perhaps my favorite look of a 1911. I have a few "flashy" Colt 1911s, but they don't look as good as the old "Black Army" Colt 1911s. Awesome!
@dcselwitz Thank You Very Much, Sir! It is SO GOOD to be back! I'm looking forward to unboxing those three sequentially serial numbered Colt Tier III Anniversary Edition 1911 Pistols. Of course, they'll get a good cleaning and lube, and then go right back into their original packaging and into the driest bowels of my weapons vault, only to see the light of day once per annum just to make sure they do not deteriorate. They're in good company.
@KrazyCash Thank You, Sir! I am really impressed with TMC's work with all vintage weaponry as a whole, but when it comes to vintage 1911 pistol restoration, TMC has perfected the art. If I run across another vintage Colt or Remington UMC 1911, which bears no historical significance, or if it has been through an arsenal rebuild....intact, it will go to TMC for restoration.
LOL. I actually have FOUR Colt Tier III Anniversary Edition Pistols. Three of them have sequential serial numbers. :)
Beautiful pistol guess I should have bought one of the ones at auction a while back was one dated to 1914, 1916, 1918, 1944 all had been altered though and figured it had hurt the value couple had target sights couple had deep bluing and none had the original grips but they didn;t bring to much one was 600 800 and the others were around 1000 I ended up buying a Sig Revolution 1911 really wanted a shooter and wasn't thinking about restoring the others but there always seems to be more at auction
@JesseLJohnson Thank You, Sir! I think, since you indicate you wanted a shooter, then you made the right choice by hooking up with the Sig Sauer 1911. Between my wife and I, we own three Sig Sauer 1911s, they are all shooters, and we couldn't be more pleased with them. As for a "curio" or "relic" purchase in which you would invest to restore, you must be VERY careful. You must do your research and if possible, make your buys in person. That market can be heartbreaking if you get a bad deal.
@weaponocd see the messages finally went through I typed it in a couple times and said message pending. Yeah I am always live at the auctions here we have a gun coin and gold auction every month there is actually one next weekend but I don't know enough about some to be putting up all that much money and I know since there had been so many alterations wasn't worth the risk to me especially the ones that had the combat sights removed and adjustable target sights installed sure it killed thevalue
@JesseLJohnson Yessir, all four of them went through, and they duplicated each other, so I posted only one. I monitor all comments before they post. In the past, there have been individuals who would rather disparage than offer useful input, so I have chosen to fix that challenge before it happens, since this is my channel.
@ThePeruano57 Thank You, Sir! I'm going great. I am quite pleased with how that old Colt turned out. Doesn't even look "old." It is a lot of fun to watch the review AND shoot videos I did earlier this year......and then watch this video. Thanks again.
Very Sweet Bro....

Great 1911's. No flash, just classic look to them.
