is this actually by Otis Rush??????? cos I googled it and it only came up with the Zep version, really want to hear the original, this version is awesome though!
Didn't you listen to the opening, He broke a string and so while page was changing a string they p;ayed. and he proubly didnt want to interupt the jam that they were playing
yeah, you can tell this is from very early on cause he's dispensing those mighty wails constantly and he's so in control of his range. he sounds exactly like he did on the self-titled albums. it's the sound that made him an icon and a trendsetter. on bootlegs from just a few years later, you can already hear that he was generally being more careful with his voice.
They had been together about 7 months, but had been touring/playing nonstop. The first album had been out about two months. These guys clicked from the moment Bonham started playing.
Do I wonder? Yeah, I'd like to get in my time machine and just hang with Led Zeppelin thru their first year. Wouldn't need much after that.
This is the 1st I heard this one. Does sound like a making of BRING IT ON or should I say an updated version, Zep Style. Anyway, pure explortation here. Yeah!
@zeppelinstrat its Blues.. its all the same progression 1,3,5 E,A,E,B,A...it sounds like every blues song becasue they are all in the same progression
pepper if you got the entire concert i'd love to hear the rest...i had this and one similar to this concert (two near the same time) that were absolutely wicked...my favorite versions of these songs and as long as i have you and for your love...please by all means keep them coming...
u could never mistake this bass playing as anybody but JPJ himself. it almost sounds like hes playing his lemon song bass lines

Sometimes you want to shorten, abbreviate, a song. That's all.
Bring in on HOME...Is that better for you?
OROSEY 2 years ago
