I disagree. Yes, I am a baptized Catholic, but lacking some faith. But, Jesus died, no he sacrificed his life so that we may be forgiven. So, that we can live without sin, and be blessed.
Trust me, I have read the Bible cover to cover more times than I care to count.

You do realize that the all powerful and all able God HAD to sacrifice himself to appease his own anger at his own creation, right? You do realize that this all powerful God couldn't do it any other way, right? He needed a blood sacrifice before your sins could be forgiven.
And in the old testament, you needed blood sacrifices to be forgiven of your sins from an all powerful and all able God.

I believe that when miracles happen they are through God's doing. Also, if someone where to die suddenly, such as the case with my grandma, my family very much belives that it was her time to go and that Jesus had called her home.

If it makes you feel better to know that an all powerful God had to make a blood sacrifice to appease his own wrath against you, go on believing it. But all it does is limit God's all-powerfulness since He needed a sacrifice made in order to forgive you in the first place and He couldn't just do it himself. Same old pagan stuff. Nothing new.
