  • I'm still laughing at the retard who said the cops told him he had "To much power" but no videos or links to his car......

  • @xDetroitMetalx Eh your trans prolly has stock gears even if your running mid thirteens or early 14s. I'm a huge liar by the way, that's why I knew what I was talking about. Go ahead judge me, I think your a piece and don't know your cars at all. Your trans will fail bc u rod it and its an auto so its automaticly slower. Even with a shift kit in it (which I doubt you have) your car is too weighed down to do serious damage. You prolly didn't even stiffen the suspension so you don't bog down

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY at least I have videos to back up what I have, you have got nothing but your word which isn't much. I'm running a PATC stage 3 4L60E which supports 650 hp and 600 torques mated with a 3600 vigi torque converter bolted up to my N/A 383, pretty sure my slow 14 second car will be okay :P

  • You know as well as I do that no matter what time I put your gonna say, bull shit or even better mine was (insert phony time here that better than yours by half a second) @xDetroitMetalx

  • @xDetroitMetalx you ever seen those ricers get pulled over on the side of the road with getting inspected by cops? Yeah that's what happened to me, too much horsepower they said. And sounds like your a little butt hurt buddy! You never even take your TA fast on the street. You get little daddies boys who have their dad buy stuff for them. I bought my car from perfection automotive. Its a mechanic shop that builds drag cars and when your trans goes out enjoy the bill I would take cable electric

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY, sorry, here in Michigan there's no such thing as too much power, we don't run into that problem. I'm not butt hurt, I just think you're a liar. My trans won't go out, it's kinda built... I also REALLY wish my dad bought my car, that would rock!

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY LMFAO!! Cops just KNOW you have to much horsey powerz!!

No video or pictures no car homo

  • Lol bald falkens and rs body style

  • Also completely different rear end to a twelve bolt posi the cops made me take the pro charger off after I blew away a piece of shot 350z I prefer steel over aluminum and I even uh oh have the..... re body style shut your mouth and work on your time that u can't change on the track bc ur car is auto and shifts for you. Even with my bald flakes I could kill your car. Prove me wrong @xDetroitMetalx

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY, first you say you took the Procharger off because of too much power and then you say cops made you take off your Procharger? Got 1/4 mile times there buddy? Arguing that M6 is better than A4 shows your ignorance.

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY Want me to post the fastest T56 F-body for you..........Might hurt your feelings that there is an LT1 in it........

  • @detroitmetal you have no idea who I am and what I'm running, just because your slow automatic ttop piece of crap isn't fast doesn't mean u should say others are living. Morosso cold air intake dropped it 3 inches hooker headers long tube borla exhaust muted I had to take the super charger off bc too much horse power. Nine inch push rods short throw shifter on the six speed trannyand final thing yes its true dual and yes its faster than your four speed piece of crap. Cops know my car to.

  • 0:32 poor 10 bolt

  • I would like to see 2 bone stock camaros go. A fair race would be a 97 LT4 SS vs 98+ LS1 SS. That would be a fair match up.

  • LOL @ the LT1 haters. Mine went 13.3 with nothing more than ram air hood (ultra-z), a takeoff SLP 2-on-the-left exhaust and underdrive pulleys. Oh yeah, that was on 18" C5 wagon wheels! A set of Welds and ET Streets and I would have been in the 12s no problem, on a barely touched LT1. (Stock TB, stock heads, stock manifolds, stock gears, etc, etc)

  • that lt1 grips like a mug

  • that lt1 camaro is beautiful what did you do to the t-tops?

  • The slicks also make a huge difference outta the hole. A cammed lt1 with slicks could run this time no problem.

  • He's looking at a mid to high 12 second pass with those numbers at the 1/8th. That's great for an LT1 with stock heads.

  • Bad ass LT1!

  • @BBBSCHOTT If he was spraying, his trap speed would have been much higher.

  • @BBBSCHOTT

No nitrous ever went through that motor... The LT1 still had stock heads as well!

  • @BBBSCHOTT you should be punched in the fucking face!! i have an LT1 and spray it every weekend with a 100 shot on all stock engine, and it still runs strong. these engines are good engines, very reliable too, except the water pump and opti. i would choose my LT1 over an LS1 because LT1's are underrated...

  • @BBBSCHOTT you're a dumbass, there's plenty of cam-only setups that run that ET and trap that mph or better

  • @BBBSCHOTT LT1 r fuckin sweet r u kidding me? A bone stock LT1 bird can still hold its own and even beat most of todays sports cars. In the mid 90's when they started putting the LT in the TA's you had a car that would blow the doors off of every Stanger out there and then shit on its grave......4 half the price! LOL. There good powerful engines of course the LS1 is a bit better but hell there both awesome

  • @lamiac2411 yeah the only reason ls1's are better is bc of that damn aluminum block >.> i own an lt1 its been completely gone through tho and is barely street legal :)

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY That's not at all why the LSx based motors are better. I have a descent LT1 that can hold down against cammed/bolt on LS1 cars but I have way more money into my motor.

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY The LS1 moves more air. The intake is superior over the lt1 intake and the heads are also superior. The aluminum block is a benefit over the cast iron lt1 but it's the intake and heads that pack the punch. The LS1 is lighter yet the overall weight of the actual vehicle compared to lt1 is relatively the same considering the beefed up suspension/brakes and stuff. The LS1 is overall a superior motor. But I have a '94 z28 and love my LT1, but not the wrench time to keep it up. :/

  • @jerron07glasson, the intake manifold takes a larger TB and the heads take after old chevy big block engines and thus move more air. The aluminum block being beneficial is negotiable, it can run cooler but is also weaker, many high HP engines use steel blocks with the LS design. A fully dressed LS1 engine is heavier than a fully dressed LT1 engine. LS1 brakes are lighter than LT1 brakes. Suspension components are exactly the same on both LT and LS cars. You're comparing classic to modern design.

  • @xDetroitMetalx Why try and tell ppl things they already know? You really didn't say anything different then what I was mentioning, go ahead and read it all again and comprehend. No, the under body work is not lighter have you ever had the two? More HP requires heavy duty breaks and suspension to keep up with it, how could one possibly go lighter...they can't. There is literally a 100lb difference on the motors, not much when talking about overall vehicles weight when basing it

  • @jerron07glasson, how does it feel to be wrong? I have rebuilt my LT1 and swapped out the front control arms from an LS car to my LT car, they are the same. I also swapped for LS1 brakes and weighed them myself with a scale, the LS brakes are lighter. If more HP requires heavy duty parts why are the 10 bolt rear ends the same? Because 20hp isn't that much of a difference. 100 lbs difference in the motors fully dressed LT1 being the heavier? No, the LT1 is 37 lbs lighter, fully dressed.

  • @xDetroitMetalx directly off the motor. The aluminum is not weaker, if it was weaker then why do most modern vehicles contain aluminum blocks? It's not necessarily the material but the boring into those blocks that create weaknesses, big difference then saying the overall material is weak. Another thing to mention, the simple fact the TB is larger and the heads being based off old BBC design IS NOT the reason the ls motor moves more air...it's the OVERALL design of the block.

  • @jerron07glasson, you proved my point, when producing huge numbers steel blocks are preferred over aluminum. Big power means big modifications, not just headers and exhaust. Besides, aluminum is weaker than steel, thus more material must be used with aluminum parts to match steels strength. Ever see aluminum rods versus forged rods? Also, I never knew an engine block moved air.... I always thought that was the intake parts and heads that did that to mix the fuel, huh... You must know so much!

  • @xDetroitMetalx Read it again, where did I say the BLOCK moved AIR? Never, I said the OVERALL DESIGN is the reason the LSx series engines are superior, the BLOCK design allowing for these upgrades in the LSx series engines which are all based off the same BLOCK DESIGN FROM THE LS1...with differences being bore, heads, intake etc yet block design is the same. No, you didn't weigh your parts with a scale, quit throwing BS at everyone on this video..all ur comments seem nothing but

  • @jerron07glasson, I just don't think you're very good at explaining yourself. Do research man, everything I say is easily accessible through a google search.

  • @xDetroitMetalx If u knew the overall basics of the lt1 or lsx series engines you wouldn't be coming back at me with that lame as rebuttal. I don't need a google search, I've spent plenty of time under my '94Z to know what I'm talking about. Pulling everything off except for the heads so far. Maybe you need to quit looking up info on google/wiki and try to piece together knowledge from experience. u can't upgrade a motor and not upgrade the underbody work if u do = dumbass.

  • @jerron07glasson you're right, I know nothing. Either look up my channel or find me on LS1LT1 if you want to know how far I've gone with my car.

  • @xDetroitMetalx Didn't say u know nothing, however u come off arrogant. Looking at all the comments on this video it's obvious others feel the same way.U don't seem to be able to understand what a person is talking about when they mention something on here, or constantly think u know more. I'm also on multiple forums, and don't run into ppl who come off as arrogant as u. Anyone can mess with a car when they have the time, but doing things right and gaining knowledge is different.

  • @jerron07glasson I would say you also come off arrogant cussing me out, claiming that I'm giving bad information, assuming I don't know basics when your claims are nothing but blind assumptions. If you want to argue further that's fine, I don't mind it and have tried to be as friendly as possible, but send me a message and let's stop blowing up this video.

  • @xDetroitMetalx Never cussed you out, only reference using a "cuss" word was when I stated that ppl can't upgrade the motor and not bother with underbody work, and those ppl are a dumbass. You can get away with stock parts, but why when you're liable to break something and don't have the quality of control as you would with rotating the stock parts out for something new and beneficial. The rear end can stay, as the 10 bolt is usually sufficient.

  • @jerron07glasson, the 10 bolt is sufficient?! Okay... You're totally pulling my chain right? That is the #1 weak spot on these cars, they are made of glass.

  • @xDetroitMetalx It's sufficient for the applications that most ppl have. The majority of ppl don't turn their car into a strip car or need a 12 bolt, 9", or strange rear end. Majority of these cars have lt headers, exhaust, heads, and ported intake and with only that the 10 bolt is sufficient. It may eventually break on a strip yes, but then that just gives someone the excuse to upgrade again if they haven't. But for DD rides, it's fine.

  • @jerron07glasson, I have to disagree 100%. 10 bolts have blown up just accelerating on a highway ramp. My posi personally failed on me when my car was 100% stock just driving home casually from work. If you can break a component easily on street tires than I would not consider it being sufficient. This is the first time I have ever heard/read an Fbody owner claim such a thing. Mind you, there are 10 bolts that survive high 9 second passes but most have a stock pile in the garage to swap in.

  • @jerron07glasson So wait you haven't pulled off your heads. Yet you Preach power and talk about upgrades. Are you serious -___-

  • @OneSlowLT1 When have I "preached power and upgrades" as if I'm talking about my own vehicle? I am not to that point yet, but I do know my way around the engine and this vehicle. What part of common sense in my postings didn't you understand? Go ahead and disagree with what I said, beef up an engine and don't bother replacing underbody work at all and see how long things last before something breaks. Apparently ppl like to read over things too fast before they comment.

  • @RAP3DYOURB4BY you're lying.

  • @lamiac2411

i owned an lt1 z28, 95 six speed and my friend had a 95 acura nsx and i always pulled on him.

  • slow ass ls1 lol,

  • boooo 1/8th mile...lol nice vid tho lt1 baby

  • damn 7.80s f'n nice bro

  • Shitty driving on the LS1 part and he needs a stall. 1/8 mile is crap regardless.

  • ls1 made more mph.

  • Fucking joto shit.. cchhwwinngg
