He trains as much as the other players, but they've simply caught up to him, he was better at BW. Saying he loses simply because he tries new strategies isn't true at all, he just gets outplayed :P

Many people mass table sngs because it is the lowest variance form of poker, but 64 is a circus stunt that is a waste of ROI (and elky knows this). Also Elky plays for money not points(?) Gaming didn't help him much - there is plenty of magic the gathering converts as well and they can mass multi table too so pro gaming wasn't much help tbh

I remember Elky playing at least 5-8 tables simultaneously at pokerstars a few years ago, he wouldn't be that succesful at poker if he didn't play sc at high level because of the very fast APM he got by playing the game. Terran race requires a lot of APM :P

5-8 is nothing, Elky can do 30+ and most "normal" people can probably manage 8-12 and still play decently. And the major reason why sc players are become successfull in poker is well, a very important concept in SC aswell as poker: adapting to your oponents strategy.

And if there were times the camera panned to the players that I may have missed, you wouldn't exactly see the mouses move much (for mineral gathering, at least), considering the mouse sensitivity in star craft as well as the distance between the cameras and their hands. ;o
