brand managers on the otherhand won't be too bothered as it (in itself) doesn't communicate anything

i think they will be a fad for large billboards... but could be used more in shops, small displays, print advertising and packaging

Nerds? I remember when the internet and web sites started. People then said, "what's the point of all that. Who needs a web site?".QR codes will be big. Expect to see them on You Tube branding soon. I will advertrise my channel/web site using QR codes.

It's a bit too much. It's cool but I don't have a camera on my phone and plenty of people who might would just be too lazy here in the U.S....maybe that's why I haven't seen or heard of them here. In Japan there always doing stuff like that so I don't know, I don't think it's gonna be a big hit here in the U.S maybe Europe I don't know. What do you Europeans say?
