Thats 5 players not 9 or 11,admitting you are entirely right and those players you mention are all 1st team, that still makes a german 1.4 team(aprox),and german national team players play nearly the same,so it wouldn´t be a great difference, if the first team played,while Portugal in this match had a "duck" as goalkeeper(responsible for a german goal,scored in faul over costinha if I remember well),and a amateur as manager and that is far more important.
