  • benson is on two tunes. check out the cd

  • pat's lines are so killer

  • whre's scott henderson?

  • Lee Ritenour looks a lot like Pat Metheny...

  • happy birthday Les Paul

  • damn... joey is a kickass player. but he's kinda disgustingly fat.

  • cant believe you dont mention guthrie govan or andy mckee in the comments, those guys are probably the 2 best players on the album.

  • @sirus1987 This one of many vidoes about this album. Search "YouTube Sensations - Andy McKee, Guthrie Govan, Joe Robinson" As Rit says this is not a guitar pissing contest...

  • @BadSneakers i know, im just saying i cant believe they didnt mention them in the comments on this vid, they list nearly everyone else besides those 2, it makes me a little sad thats all

  • @sirus1987 I see Govan and McKee's names during the intro. Again, this is just one video about the song Rit did "LP" - with Pat Martino, those guys you mention are covered in the video called "Youtube Sensations." I think the yotube upload guy "jazzvideoguy" did about 6 or 7 of these - click on his name at the top.

  • Captain Fingers vs. "Motherf@ker" Pat Martino, now this is going to start WWIII

  • LP is Les Paul not linkin park.

  • I remember when MTV first started they played some lee ritenour videos, odd but still cool for the 80s

  • It is sad that for most people in the world, L.P. firstly means Linkin Park, and not Les Paul. It really show how the young generation's music really killed the blues and the jazz.

    R.I.P Les Paul

  • @HolyGK the jazz has always been undercover, the blues is slowly dying, tho electric blues is like it's life support device nowadays

  • Martino is one of the greatest Jazz guitarists in the genre's history

  • 1:04 2009, not 2010 dude.

    At least I think so.

  • @ExcelButlerNabeshin It was recorded in 2010

  • @BadSneakers It doesn't mean he died in 2010. He died in 2009.

  • @ExcelButlerNabeshin man, i want it now, Martino's and Ritenour's records are freaking hard to find!!

  • so.. is this six string thing available?

  • @Chisuz yeah its been out for a while now

  • good

  • You can tell Lee Ritenour is a really nice guy

  • @MonsterGuitarX In a weird child molester kind of way. I hear ya though.

  • good jazz man . i love Martino

  • wath is that song in the intro??

  • @ericrob2112 its the song? haha

  • Beeindruckend

  • can someone please tell me where i can find either chords, tabs or notes to this song!:) plzzzz

  • @ HighCrystal & others - what does Joey's weight have to do with anything? I'm sure Bon Jovi & Poison vids are on youtube.

  • I usually don't make comments on You Tube but this video is Great! These guys are legends in the misic biz IMHO.

  • I would really buy the cd again if it came with a dvd.

  • @ianidinuse I did hear Ritenour say a 5.1 CD audio will soon be released. It will also include some tracks with only the rythym section so players can play along with it.

  • Wow, so basically Lee asked other guitarists if they wanted to get on the track and play with Pat Martino. I wish George Benson would have stepped up. It would have been so great for him to play along with Pat. I've been wanting to hear Benson and Martino on the same song and this opportunity just passed!

  • @JazzyZenBrotha I can see Slash wetting his jeans down, and maybe rockerdudes Lukather and Schon would be a bit frightened to get lost along Martino's incredibly creative lines, but I just don't see guitar juggernauts like Benson or Scofield backing down, maybe they were short on time, maybe they weren't even asked. Scofield has played with Martino many times and Benson with whole lotta unique guitarists too so it just doesn't make sense.

  • @rodcrippler - That's so true. Guitar juggernauts like Benson and Scofield were probably too busy. I know that Benson is busy touring a lot and was probably only able to come in a record very quickly. But I hope that some day in the future Benson and Martino will team up! There needs to be a facebook fan page dedicated to them both teaming up. That would be phenomenal.

  • LOVE Pat's style........would be a great day to hear Pat live one day!

  • I saw Martino live in may and it was incredible.

he is at a point beyond technique and physical matters on the guitar.

he played some of the greatest lines effortlessly.

he just lets his mind do the work harmonically......he's simply the best

  • Whoa-Joey D needs to get a grip on eating, or he won't be around much longer...dude.

  • @pretorious700 Normally I wouldn't say anything about somebody's weight, but I have to agree with you here. Much as I love Joey to bits, I wish he'd lose a few pounds. Really really great jazz organists are few and far between, and he's the only great jazz organist we have left now.

  • @HighCrystal We still have several great organists, including Tony Monaco, Larry Goldings and Barbara Dannerlin.

  • @JazzVideoGuy True, I like those guys & dolls too , but Joey's style is what I most like about him.

  • @HighCrystal I wasn't trying to be glib, that stage of obesity is life threatening. You're right, Joey is a treasure, I would like to see him live a long time.

  • @pretorious700 I know you weren't. Joey's always been a 'big' guy but I've never seen him this big.

  • Pat Martino-I can listen to him all day and not get bored.

  • awesome! thank you so much for uploading! Les Paul and Martino are real hall of famer :)

  • Pat Martino is awesome...loved seeing him live. Also, good to see Will Kennedy in action.
