the orks are the most widespread race, everywhere you go in the galaxy you are sure to find an ork. The only reason the orks haven't completely dominated all of the other factions is because they wont stop fightin eachother. If the orks could just see their simularities, the love of battle, then they would form a Waaagh! so massive that entire planets would be reduced to rubbly. The orks are the pinacle of society, most see a race that strong and pass is off as barbaric.

Orks are latent psykers. They were genetically engineered by the Old Ones to fight the Necrontyr, so a certain degree of psychic ability is in their genetic coding, in the form of their Waaagh! ability, along with basic knowledge of society, language, and in the case of Mek Boyz, engineering ability. And i don't know why, but i doubt most Choppaz are made from wood. If they can make Shootaz and Burnaz then i'm sure they have a grasp of Metallurgy to make metal axes

Humans hold the largest empire, the orks are shattered into smaller clans. Overall, orks probably out number every other race 5 to 1, but they are unorganized and constantly fight each other. Of course, this isn't counting Tyranids, which we really don't know how many they are since there could be millions of galaxies full of them.

That's cool and all but there are not as many space marines as there are orks, who outnumber every other organism in the galaxy (even tyranids). Of course, one ordinary slugga boy ork would be no match for an ordinary space marine but a squad of 16 of them can devastate 3 space marines and there's billions more orks than any one space marine. I still think that warboss would have kicked that scrawny Force Commander's ass if his hammer got him.
