did you buy the software or you download it? how did you download the software. did you download the software into the phone or the memory card?

@rangsin1 I "downloaded" the software. I don't have the phone anymore but if I remember correctly I had to download the software to the memory card.

to find gps u need internet, i use my wifi router but it want to use that other internet that costs money. cant i just get it over wifi so its free??

Yes.. Garmin is much better when you drive.. also in finding POIs.. lot of options.. But one thing.. I always use Sygic.. .. I have paid for both and my next one is Roadpilot by MMI.. gr8 product

i use Sygic. it takes about 20 minutes to find a sattelite

I think you may have probs with the internet connection and sometimes it takes longer if your current location is far from the last location where you got a GPS lock

3G not required but having an internet connection gives a faster GPS lock

hey i got the software too ... it worked on my nokia 5800 !! but the buttosns on the bottom like the (back, I agree buttons) arent soft keys as in it wont work wen i touch them ....

hey, thanks for the video, i recently purchased the n97 and i have garmin mobile xt installed, i only have one issue with the map dimensions when the phone is on horizontal mode, the map doesn't fit the whole screen.. any suggestions?

I have the same issue occasionally when in landscape mode. No solution yet to this. Lets just hope there's another update to Garmin that resolves this issue.

I installed this on mine and the postcode search feature is gone, but worked on my n 97. Any idea why?
