I don't know where these ideas about this being a German fan made film, or from the game Final Liberation came from. This video is a remix of one of a series of film trailers GW made way back when they were trying to make a 40k film, this one in particular's called Hive Infestation. Sure it bears a resemblance to Final Liberation because of the similar graphics, but that's just because that's the style GW was going with at the time.

Part of the reason this movie didn't get relaesed was that it ws made by a group of german fans, and under german laws it was impossible to transfer all the rights to GW - and since GW (rightly so) must protect their copyrights it couldn't be officially released.
