Seems to me that if it is a big problem like this guy says, Maybe it shouldn't be available at all. Drug dealers would get ahold of this stuff anyways and cut it with acetamenaphine themselves. What this guy is saying, would be like blaming a kids parents for the injury of their child drug addict for not giving him enough allowance to buy better drugs cleaner drugs.
Wow what a manipulation video. you just seemed pissed that it's more difficult to get pure forms of the drugs. Prescribed, these drugs have a certain use and are not intended for recreation. The FDA is not there to make sure the people who wish to abuse are more safe taking high amounts of something that is not good for you anyways
Scientologists try to attack psychological drug prescriptions because of what they believe about the mind. It's a good thing nobody takes them seriously or we would have a lot of people hurting themselves. We still don't understand a lot about the mind and how to make drugs without so many side effects. What the scientologists don't understand is, that it's better to use the knowledge of medicine we already have rather than using none at all.
Vicoprofen is always an alternative. Ibuprofen is not processed by the liver, but rather the kidneys and is safer in high dosages. HOWEVER, Pill addiction of any kind with or without APAP can cause long term damage in other areas.
At the very least, people need to be allowed to ingest anything into their bodies they wish. This is a *basic* human right.
Raising awareness about harmful effects of drugs is great, but that is as far as people should be able to go. Prohibitive controls on natural psychoactive substances are nothing short of human rights violations, in my opinion.
I absolutely support legalization of marijuana, as do I support the legalization of all drugs. In fairness though, marijuana seems to be the most ridiculous of all the criminalize. It certainly does seem to have the most effect with the least risk.
I've smoked marijuana for ten years and the arguments that 1) make people lazy (lack work ethic) 2) gateway drug and 3) is highly addictive are all subjective arguments. I mean subjective because it's effect on an individual is totally dependent on that individual.
So I totally agree that it being criminalized is very absurd.
im sick of people acting like pot is the cure for everything. i smoked for years but i feel much better off that shit. it never treated pain or did anything great, just lowered my iq while i was on it.
Good video Len. I have glaucoma and so does my aunt. I'm not sure what she was prescribed but she became addicted to it, and the pain was so bad she eventually had her eye removed. It's surprising how easily these kinds of additions can take hold.
nah man, this is still interesting... I don't take any sort of prescription drugs though... but It's just another example of how the FDA are trying to kill you, we all know what's going to happen to the addicts when the safer option has been taken away from them *-*
fuck people who get addicted to drugs, we are extremely over populated as a race and we should either be killing or banning people to god forsaken lands who dont want to take care of their bodies. now ok, if these guys are experts what makes you think YOU know better?
because you use drugs that makes you smarter?
no, getting educated and going to school and studying the effects makes you an expert
fantastica ININJA, I wouldn't pass judgment on drug addicts if you've never been in that situation. You don't know how easily this can happy to otherwise very healthy, very normal people.
And it's not about knowing more than the FDA, this issue is common sense. I'm sorry but your comment is a precise example of where our country stands on important issues like this today. and it's sad.
maybe if you look into the camera, i would be able to take your points of views more seriously. looking away from the camera just shows me that youre to afraid to look at us.
i don't see what your talking about, you want him the stare at the lens? he's looking at the exact same spot on the camcorder that he's always been looking at in his videos, he's looking at the view finder on the screen of the Camera... that's were your supposed to look to keep yourself frame, cause there's no one else holding the cam = S
this is a very interesting video. I can honestly say ive learned alot from the information you've provided. And you make a hell lot of sense! I commend you for making this video, it is extremely informative and correct. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
haha ye i just dont get your ideas on that video...maybe I just dont know enough about meth, or any other dangerously addictive drug, but I cant seem to find the positive effects of allowing cronic drug addicts to purchase the very thing that kills them. Legally.
The positive effect would be that they can sustain their addiction without playing the dangerous game of getting it on the underground market. Many people are driven to steal just to avoid withdrawal. People will induce their own pain, such as break something, just to get an ER doctor to prescribe pain killers. Gangs would not have a means to flourish economically if they weren't running drugs. Less innocent people would die in the crossfire.
Addicts will be addicts anyway. The real way to minimize the human suffering is to take the very unpopular approach, swallow some very difficult realities to swallow, and legalize the whole thing.
I completely agree, they should be available to everybody. I know people who have broken their own fingers just to get prescriptions. It's comforting to see that not everyone has been brainwashed by propoganda. Great video.
Another instance of how these bureaucratic assholes are hurting people who are trying to live their lives because of their ignorant beliefs. And you're right, they should crash into a tree and let them feel the pain they cause.
Doctors prescribe drugs that are available. The FDA as a whole is a joke they keep things that could cure people off the market that are natural. Why because only a drug can cure a disease and if it is not a drug then it is spit on by the FDA. They are about government power and control.
Very insightful Len. These people that are addicted to narcotics shouldn't have to be forced to take the underground way to get their satisfaction because it is dangerous, not only with the Acetaminophen but with the actual buying and selling of the narcotic itself. There is no reason not to make a form of this readily available without Acetaminophen.

An addict with a desire to quit, no matter how small, is the only kind of addict with a chance of getting clean.

Doesn't matter anyway because the FDA said NO. There are other meds under question, i.e. NyQuil.

screw pills or any man made painkilling drug. The number one painkiller is medical marijuana. You wont get addicted, and it will stop the pain.

That's your right to feel that way, just as it's someone else's right to smoke it. You can't just ban everything that doesn't work as well for you.
BayAreaLen 2 years ago
Actually, it's not their right to smoke it if it's illegal where they live...

i agree with len. and it sounds like you were using it for recreational purposes. you gotta know how to use it for certain purposes.
