  • WHO WOULD HAVE EVER GUESSED CAROL KING WOULD WRITE THIS SONG FOR THE BEST GIRLS GROUP EVER, I SURE AM GLAD I GOT TO SEE THIS GROUP. THEY HAD SO MUCH GOD GIVEN TALENT FOR SUCH YOUNG GIRLS.

  • So beautiful you can feel the heart ache. A very serious contender for the the greatest two and a half minutes in pop music history.

  • Spaceballs!!

  • How do 7 retards react after seeing this video? By hitting the dislike button. Fucking morons.

  • they are like angels

  • is this the original version???

  • @maxmilans Yes. This is the original group minus 1 lipsynching to the original record. This was filmed sometime in the 70's. Lead Singer Shirley Alston, Beverly Lee on the end and the late Micki Harris in the middle. She passed away in 1982.

  • @rhtyhmsearch Thanks for the clarification. I knew that Shirley was the original lead on this, and of course, anyone from that ear can tell instantly that this is the original version.

  • Super Classic!! Priceless!!

  • que linda cancion , pero q lindaaaaaaaaaaa cancion cary

  • This was back when all siingers had to rely on their God given talent. There

was no computer enhanced feedback, or other computer generated mixing

to make you sound good. You had to be good period. These singers today

have no idea what it's like to have to make it on their ability alone.

  • @LadODell You said it.

  • @LadODell you are completely correct this until about richi valens era

  • And what fancy footwork! Such a class act. Beyonce and the rest can just clean their shoes.

  • black people really had something to be proud of back then.

  • my favorite song.....lOVE THE SHIRELLES!!!!

  • hermosa

  • bellina..

  • it was the production and arrangement of the strings made it the best of all... ck wrote it and i love her solo version on piano, but the shirelles made it a hit all over the world. this looks like late 60's, the single came out in 1960... damn shirley owens looked hot in that afro!

  • i love their afros i would to have an afro like that

  • Love It..............Tezza the Manch...

  • I would swap my straight hair for an afro.

  • this is great, but...

You might wanna listen to Amy Winehouse' version...

  • @kackod101 -- I don't wanna hear Amy Winehouse's version! LUV the Shirelles!☺

  • @WytZox1 Listen to Amy's version once...

    It won't hurt...

  • @kackod101 -- Okay! Amy's version at a slower tempo is sexier but I still prefer the original.

  • @WytZox1 Respect that bro...

  • Muito legal. parabéns.

  • this song is so beautiful..

  • What a beatiful voices and the singer is very nice, she has smiley eyes. I love this song, the lirics is romantic but it has a great message.

  • First class.

Big hair, big vocals, great artists

Simply awsome era of great music & songs...

  • type in and watch -

    "Beamer James Durbin"

See a most talented 8 year old perform this classic in the James Durbin style

  • I met her recently///She hates when people say they had a crush on her//LOL

  • Shirley se parecia com uma linda bonequinha. Toda perfeitinha. Linda!

  • the lead singer is so pretty and that voice is just beautiful

  • Look how simple this performance was and still great. Simple dance moves, simple wardrobe.... simply beautiful!

  • Is she 50cent's mom? hahahahahahahahahahaha!

  • I heard this when i was l very small kid .....and it has always been remembered ........where ever you Girls are ......awesome job....a true master piece

  • this is a lipsync form TV it's the original recording but the Shirelles did not have aftros in 1963

  • Wasn't this song written by Carole King? I had it on an album where she would only record her own songs.

  • @levensregt The Shirelles have been singing this song since the late 1950's but I will check.

  • @levensregt Creative people always give credit where it is due. Yes Carole king wrote this song.

  • It was 1960 and they dont write them like that anymore eh?

  • What year was this?

  • How did we get from this to whats out today??

  • The ONLY problem with older songs is that they finish too soon...have you noticed that every song from before the 80s finish at 2:38 or less???! LOL

  • @gap81

If, like me, you love progressive rock, then you find great music that can often last for 10 - 20 minutes. One song would often take up a whole side of an LP.

  • OH MY GOD does this bring back some awesome memories.

  • classy and cool... wish we had more female artists like this. most of today's music is horrible

  • sorry friends

  • Wow! Great song! Gorgeous Ladies!

  • Wow! Great songs! Gorgeous Ladies!

  • It would be nice if we kept racism and music apart. When will we ever learn.

  • Still my all time favorite ballad! Second is "In The Still of The NIght" of course, followed by "Stand By Me."

  • i want to look like a microphone too..

  • @fastmclaren71

YOUR A RACIST IDIOT FOR REAL!!!!!!!!LEAVE YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF, HATEFUL ASS!!!!!

  • @fastmclaren71 HEY PENDEJO, THAT IT HAPPENS TO YOU.

  • @fastmclaren71 Faggot.

  • @fastmclaren71 Faggot Youtube Gangster but a bitch and a sissy in real life.

  • this is lip synched

    a live version is here

The Shirelles - Will You Love Me Tomorrow (Live, 1964)

  • What a gal group they were!!! And - the sound quality IS GOOD. It sounded good in 1963 when we had AM radio and hi-fi sets. Go Shirelles. You are quality forever!!!

  • polish version Jedna z najlepszych wersji ever

  • You can get this mp3 at audiogetnow..com

  • If only the sound quality is good. Anyway, incase nobody has noticed but the main vocalist seems as if she's worried about something. Might as well be the stage fright. The eyes don't lie.

  • @twiggy695 i do not think it was stage fright, it seems as if she had fought with someone. His left eye seems to be hurted.

  • i recall that time 1963 so let.s flash back . now if i could fine mr.

h g well time machine. then i could go and come.

  • This brings white people up too. Not like Bullshit Gangsta Rap....

  • @mholub especially since a white person actually wrote it

  • @tommyluis1 Whites are a very funny and evil race of people. They can never give blacks due credit for anything. If you like the music just say it a good song, but you cannot stand that such a great song was performed by blacks so you say "especially since a white person wrote it" Racist Bastard.

  • @MrSivram28 I would not even worry myself. Because all the pain black people went through gave them Rock and Roll also many genre of music the blues the gospel that was sung in the fields. Yes you are very right they really do not give us credit. But remember there is a God and he does not sleep.

  • @MrSivram28 Africa is the origin of alot of the instruments used today.

  • @SweetAdvice Yes you are correct, even the Banjo that is used by white American bluegrass musician was first used by black American slaves. You will never hear white's broadcast such an information.

  • @MrSivram28 let's get real who developed the string instruments that came to be violins violas guitars and banjos I'm not saying blacks had not place in the development but it's basically a European invention

  • @elamite66 Negative Africa has always had it own stringed instruments, and they banjo is an African American instrument of West African origin.

  • @MrSivram28 Not all of us are racist. Are you? Without black people this would be a very dull world. Many of us(whites) recognize and appreciate the amazing contributions by blacks in all areas......Shirley however almost didn't record "will you still love me"...She said it was "too white"..That doesn't make her a racist either. She was just telling the truth. Good thing she changed her mind.

  • wow, this video is wonderful, those girls look so cool, wonderful song ..the best ..

  • What a song. But I would feel more confortable making her heart surgery than being her hairdresser.

  • great song , im crying ....................what happen to music like this , there isn't really any music anymore . they should outlaw most of this @#$% they are playing now

  • Great song... brings back a lot of memories and I love singing this one

  • i just love all of it

  • I so love this song

  • BIGGEST HAIR EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • Cool afro dudes...

  • All the ladies are beautiful, especially the lead singer, Shirley Owens with those captivating eyes. They harmonize wonderfully on this enchanting song.

  • Great version of this classic. Fashion, music and attitudes have moved into darker days, but at least this era of music will be played forever.

  • What a beautiful song!

  • fantastic! close to tears!

    peace from sweden!

  • This is great thanks. Beautiful ladies!!!

  • So damn classy..so pretty with their afros.. look at those features. damn what happened to black folks? God..they were soo pretty..now you got blonde wigs and no clothes. stupid.

  • @macdelight ur are soooo right, that makes me sooooo sad, everybody is trying to be something and no body is just "being"

  • @macdelight: It's because of society's pressures and especially our own *as in black people* prejudice towards fine black hair! When I wear my afro I get a lot of heat from brothers and sisters. Kinda sucks, but it's the truth.

  • @macdelight Thats not accurate, or fair.

  • @macdelight You're so right.

  • this video take me back a very very long time ago.

i was a young man then. now time go on. i still recall

  • greatest female group of all time !!! well maybe the supremes ! boof

  • yes indeesd it's a great song

  • One of the best ever recorded

  • i now wot you are saying

  • The lead Singer is absolutly Gorgeous!!!

  • Yes,she is!!!Still is!!She's the great Shirley Alston. The one in the middle is Mickey Harris and Beverly Lee, who now has her own Shirelle's group and owns the name. Missing is Doris, who at the time of this video had left the group.

  • @carolingianVI Yeah, her eyes are mesmerizing.

  • 2:20 till the end,,,,,CLASSIC! "will you still love me tomorrow" repeat.!!!!

  • Still the best version ever

  • One of the Best songs of all times!!!

  • One of my favorites and thanks for posting .

  • In a word great

  • ........just a moments pleasure......

  • Tonight you're mine completely

You give you love so sweetly

Tonight the light of love is in your eyes

But will you love me tomorrow?

  • Is this a lasting treasure

    Or just a moment's pleasure?

Can I believe the magic of your sighs?

Will you still love me tomorrow?

  • Tonight with words unspoken

You say that I'm the only one

But will my heart be broken

When the night meets the morning sun?

  • I'd like to know that your love

Is love I can be sure of

So tell me now, and I won't ask again

Will you still love me tomorrow?

  • So tell me now, and I won't ask again

Will you still love me tomorrow?

Will you still love me tomorrow?

Will you still love me tomorrow?

  • the world may change but some things remain the same ... will you still love me tomorrow

  • many try to duplicate but all fall short

  • One of the greatest girl groups ever.

  • she is very pretty girl and her voice so gentle,,sweet...innocent,,great talent just like Ronettes

  • Beautiful romantic song innocent yearning song of love one of my all-time favourites puts you in the mood for amour.

  • yes,,,this rhym,,sound is great,,,louching my heart

  • Even though I am very young, I have always love classic oldies like this because of the lyrics:"... is this a lasting treasure or just a moment pleasure...will you still love me tomorrow"

  • @dayo4u Glad you can appreciate the great lyrics of this great song written by Carole King. Another oldie song with great lyrics is: I'll never find Another You by the Seekers , IMO the best love song ever written.

  • @dayo4u grew up listening to them on 8 tracks as well as vynal albums

  • boy, they look strange with afro...only angela davis looked great in afro..and where's the fourth member of the group?? and what is that cross around...i think they preceded all black female groups in the early sixties, certainly the supremes and, even, marvelettes i think...

  • Judging from those afros, the set and their figures, this video is from a later era - late '60's-early '70's.

  • classic

  • Brings back a lot of personal memories for me. Mickey and Beverly are both gone and they are missed. Especially Mickey's humor. Great video. Love the fro's.

  • Actually, Micki (center) and Doris (who had left the group by this time) are passed away. Beverly (right) still tours with The Shirelles, and Shirley (left), tours as Shirley Reeves, original lead singer of The Shirelles. They got together last year when their hometown of Passaic, NJ named a street after The Shirelles.

  • i luv this song from sixties the best time 4eva....!!!

  • THE SHIRELLES GREAT SONG

  • Women. Always worrying

  • obłędne !

  • This is my favorite song from a female Do-Wop group, they were, and will always be the great Shielles.

  • The most important consideration is that both are locked together, physically, spiritually; and in soul, IN THOISE MOMENTS! What might or not happen in h next moment is not so important! invitably those moments wil lead to another moment of fulfilmenrt!

Aaah motown!!!!! brings back memories of "Teen canteen" ; and the 60's at the back of Hay Street in Central Sydney!!! Levi Jeans; and Banlon T-Shirts!!! that was the day! Michael

  • Timeless song. Maybe the 60's but, let's fac it, still what woman the world over keep wondering. Until women are titally free of outside crap influences, this will be an anthem. Period. Like It. or not. It is timeless.

  • omg so much souvenir in the movie Police academy :)

  • Gracias por esta bella cancion. Es una cancion tan simbolica de su tiempo y creo que aun hoy. Esta si es la original pero escucha la version de Lorrie Morgan.

  • So many songs today are tasteless and wicked. This music possesses the surreal quality of innocence in lyrics and sweetness in melody. Yes critics, laugh now.

  • Love the music and OMG I had forgotten about those hair styles...

  • This was playing ,when I met my future husband in 1965..we talked about this the following day...

We married in 1968 and divorced in 1986.Cest la Vie!!!!

  • ah loveable ol motown

  • This was on Scepter Records. N.J. girl group.

  • This brings black people UP instead of bringing em down, like 50 cent

  • ? ....

  • @MadMart666 Haha, couldn't say any better.

  • @MadMart666 50 cents is not even worth a penny...garbage!!!!

  • @MadMart666 ...I wouldn't have known ANYONE had a Color (or is "coloured")...At The Top of the World! Timeless!..and now, Tomorrow!

  • wtf are u talking about

  • Great song! Old songs are the best ever:)

  • One of the best songs, one of the best groups ever. Period.

I used to be a reg. on Bandstand at 46th and Market. I really do know what I'm talking about. Well.. once in a while.

That said.. this is one of those moments.

  • This is one of the best girl groups ever. I liked them as a teen and still do today. I have never heard the Supremes version that one writer mentioned. They always performed well with great sounding voices and feeling. Also, they always looked great. If you want to see how these charming ladies looked in 1964, check out that video which is also on this site.

  • This was a huge hit by the Supremes in 1960,it brings back memories to me because of my GFs love of the song!

  • Ohh, this song is so... so nice, and so happy.:D Beautiful music.

  • This is my favorite songs.

    Thanks!

  • It's amazing, if you watch her, she's sings so effortlessly. He voice is amazing. The Shirelles were one of the greatest 60s groups ever.

  • hey :)

I think the reason it seems like she's singing so effortlessly is because she's miming. Maybe not sure. But i love this song!! :) see yah xx

  • Yes..on most of ther programs back then they almost had to pantomime the music. Expensive to hire an orchestra. Which does NOT take away the magic of the song! Thanks for putting this up here enmanuelo :)

  • carolel king is brillient

  • Hey ! Very nice song even today ! And indeed as XMLarry remarked it's very popular at weddings (I can't explain that myself) but still I think it's catchy as rhytm and sound... even my boyfriend and I picked it as our song !

  • 'Aahhhhh!

So that's were those Dir-dee dancing producers got their inspirations from!

    Kewl.

  • Good song, but I never could understand why it was so popular at weddings. I mean, if there is some doubt about one's love for the other, why are they getting married...

  • I know eh ?????????

  • I remember when Potsie Sung this song on Happy Days. they were on a beach and he sung this song to some girls while playing the acoustic.

    Classic Song!!!

  • 1960, 14 years old. my girlfriend loved this song and played it all the time, it was a huge hit back then, performed by a great female vocal group.

  • Gracias por subir esta cancion, muy hermosa y preciosa epoca de los 60"s!!

  • The answer is, "Yes we still love you to this day!"

  • Shirley Alton Reeves, the sweetest one in the Shirelles. This song is so beautiful that I get tears in my eyes.

  • I couldn´t agree more! I get goosebumps! Sweet sweet song

  • For some reason, the lead singer reminds me a lot of Mary Wilson of the Supremes. Maybe it's thier voices, or maybe it's the way they look. I'm not really sure.

  • only on a hot day lol!

  • Before the Supremes...

The Shirelles, Shirley,Mikki and Beverly the Best.

Theirr Best Song and my favorite...

    Bob

  • Que voz tan hermosa

  • I think they would have looked cooler in this video with their heads shaved. Great song though!

  • That is Shirley, Mikki Harris, and Beverly. Doris was not with the group at this time and Mikkie would die shortly after this video.

  • Shirely, Doris (i think thats her name) and Mikki right?

  • very sexy afros!

  • Great hair! I used to wear my hair in a great big afro back in college. I love the 70s!

  • Tried very hard to get away from this music but ,i'm hooked.

Great vid ,Great sound,Love this thanks!!!!
