Who said no boost. This car had a T78 turbo with enough boost to send a rocket to the moon. I did run into to a guy hitting 900+ with a lot of boost but he couldn't get it right and blew all the time. Lag was not even an issue b/c it hadso much HP without the turbo that there was never any lag as you can see in the video. Great tuning and perfect match in parts made it happen. New build in the making. Trying to get my New IS-F to hit the all mighty 1500+. We'll see.

I believe this is the car that belongs to the Father of one of my friends. The owner is building an ultimate sleeper. I have personally seen the actual printed dyno sheets for this car. All I can say is that its 732 HP are only restricted by the transmission.

Don't quote me on this but IF this car has the Getrag V160 Tranny Swap, then I believe that it can hold 1100-1200+WHP reliably. I'm not too sure if the same can be said for the W58 or the R154. I could be wrong though. And I'm talking bout stock trannys here

It is an inline six like Supra design, but the block and head is not as strong. There is no way the aluminum head can take that much power. I've seen people take it all the way on the stock block and it blew up.

I can confirm that this car does indeed have modified suspension. The suspension in this car was so extreme that it bent the frame and had to undergo significant work to repair it. Since then I believe the suspension has been upgraded farther.

There is no way a stock IS300 with an aluminum block and head could withstand that much power without blowing up. The guy would have to do an iron engine swap. Even if he did do that a turbo, supercharger or a large shot of nitrous is require to produce what he says on that size engine and none of those were heard in the video.

As for timing, there was no eloping. It sounds like the timing is stock or close to stock with no degreeing or camshaft upgrades which is a huge intake/exhaust restriction.

Late reply...sorry! Honestly their was a lot of work done to this car. A six speed multiplate clutch tranny entire refabed bottom end. This motor was bullet proof. The turbo set up this way could have taken on the name stage 5 and I'm sure the guys at SRT would be proud to install one if all $tuff was right.

@loserwing Not all Supras come stock with twin turbos. Even when they do, the turbos are often swapped out for on big turbo for more power. And does your friend also have an IS300 so you could compare the two engines? A 2JZ is a 2JZ.
