Secondly, I really hope for your sake you don't get an illness that would prevent you from working and thereby lose your house/car/etc, but then again, maybe it would help you understand socialism a little more.

Yes, but many are freeloaders. This is why states like Florida and Kentucky have started drug testing for welfare money.
