Yeah, he has thrown some untimely picks, especially in the last decade but look around him. He has never had a hall-of-fame receiver or running back or stout o-line. You have to take the good with the bad. He is a top 10 all-time QB who people love because of the way he plays the game.

Does that sound like they wanted him to leave, or "pushed" him out the door? Give me a damn break! Every player who quits is not afforded the opportunity to return to their previous status, no strings attached. It comes to this, Thompson and McCarthy keep explaining that they "will do what is best for the team." The ultimate goal in the NFL is win super bowls isn't it? If you were to do what's best for the team, wouldn't you do whatever you can to start the better QB for your organization...UNLESS, you are Ted Thompson, then goals change... fuck the super bowl and that shit, he wants a team he can say he built.

I like Brett Favre. I think he is one of the top 5 QB's but all-time, but I feel that he brought this on himself. Brett has held the Packers orgnization hostage for the last three seasons. The QB position is the centerpiece of the franchize. And he has made them wait later into the offseason without the uncertainty of who will lead the franchize. The 1st two times were okay, because he made his decision a few weeks after the season was over. But now he wants the team to wait until camp starts..

Then when the Packers have moved on, Aaron Rogers earned the starting QB job, Brett decides that he wants to come back. OH HELL NAH. Thats BULLSHIT. You can't suddenly demote a guy who rightfully earned the starting QB like that because some HOF decides that he wants to get off the couch at the last minute and strap on his pads again. That's not fair to Aaron Rogers(who has been practicing with the 1st team all offseason). Again, I like Brett, but this is an act of selfishness on his part...

Brett Favre is THE greatest QB if not player to play in my lifetime. He has helped create a love of the game He played his heart out for the Packers. He played every game even with injuries that other players would sit out games for. Packers would be stupid if they did not make Brett the starting QB, he deserves that much for all the blood and sweat he dealt out so that all those big guys upstairs can sit on their ass.

Favre has won alot of games for the packers, but if you look at his stats and have watched packer games carefully, he has also LOST alot of games for them too. Think about this alarming and undisputable stat, you nutty Favre fans. He thrown 100, yes 100 freakin INTs since 2003, including a startling 29 INTs in 2005! His last pass last year in the NFC champanionship game was an INTs.

Even a washed up broken down Brett Farve is better than two-thirds of NFL QB's! Lets not forget that the Packers over the past couple of years were one of the youngest teams on the field! What does that mean, the team progressed around Farve! He was their leader, now they chose to have a guy with no experience lead their team?
