I loved firefly the first time I saw it and was so sad to see it canceled, I think we are very lucky that they made a movie from it.

I wasn't impressed with Dollhouse at first but towards the end I was hooked and cried so hard on the last episode.

I plan on buying the DVD series once they come out.

It's 'cause pretty much NOBODY watches them, meaning the network misses on ad revenue.

Either by folly of the network (Firefly), or botched concept (Dollhouse), but this shit keeps happening to him. Either way, they kinda got their asses in check with Dollhouse at the end, but it was too little too late.

@sharkfrenz -- I'm sorry to break it to you, but dollhouse has been canceled. However, there is good news. They decided to 'compromise' with the fans and show two episodes each friday, that way they can show the second and third season in one swoop.

If anything, the problem is that Dollhouse tanked the first season, and somehow tanked the second season at a point before fucking taking the gloves off and swinging for the fences. But hey, the concept was damn hard tp pull off in the first place.

most shows which are worth watching are not that great compared to how they became because they do thing to get picked up for more seasons. Buffy and Dollhouse had great moments in their first seasons but had to do stuff to make people watch. the second seasons the writers and creators have more freedom to take you to the real story.

Why don't they let the people making the show just do their fucking jobs? Executive meddling always ends badly, but they never learn. I just don't get that.
