i have searched on you tube for this song for two days,only heard the artists name as min Tulips or Dulips, so whenever i typed in i was getting Tulips from Amsterdam, This is one of those tunes that makes you stop dead in your tracks , Thanks so much for sharing it .Bex

i had this on stiff records 7" i wonder if anybody has the original video to this, never a hit in the uk at the time shame, im aslo lookin fo another girl band music early 80's band "girls at our best" cant find anything on them.

@esurfer26 Julie and Debbie L are my aunts :) and there both still in bow, East London, making a song for Kylie Minogue :D. The rest of the band are also still in East London and ther'e all fine and doing very well, still have amazing voices!

I remember seeing them perform this on TV - maybe on The Tube or something like that - thought it was wonderful at the time and the decades since have made no difference to my first thoughts - this is a first rate soul sound - thanks to the artists and thanks for posting.

Amazing cover and the 12" vinyl sits proudly on my shelf 20 odd years later. I love Neile Young but this version even outclasses the original. Saw them at an Art Club thing in Exeter about that time and hollered up a request for it but as they were doing a purely accapella set it was "sorry" but they knew the record had owners !!
