  • lol i totally agree about the "boing boing" thing, mood killer

  • Such an emotional story is so abruptly interrupted when you have to say "boing boing".

"trying to understand what love really is."

    *tear*

    "boing boing"

  • Elizabeth celebrated her 98th birthday last September. She still drives...

    She's a remarkable woman.

  • Ack, the narrator was way too annoying to listen to. Why did she have to semi-whisper everything? I couldn't watch/listen past about the 2 minute mark.

I hope everything turned out well for the lady! I'm assuming it did, since she's still alive.

  • What a beautiful love story. Proof that true love can withstand pain and even infidelity. Blessings to you Mrs. Schorr. Thank you for sharing your story of love and family strength.

  • Nichts besonderes.

  • 1:38 - Che Guevara in a past life lol???

  • Fascists don't care about labels - they can pose as communists, socialists, liberals or conservatives.

Judge them by their actions, not their labels!

  • This really is a most beautiful and inspiring story. Thanks very much for telling this to BB. Also much appreciation for the wonderfull commentary by the interviewer.

  • You are right CommanderUTube! Thank you for posting, what a great and big lesson here! Again, and again, we all need love to keep going, and of course we khow that humain nature is weird sometimes, but keep hoping in a better futur for all of us around the world.

My best wishes to you all for the New Year 2010.

  • how old is she , Elizabeth Pschorr , in spanish cuantos años tiene ella

  • I believe she loved him and he loved her. They were victims of their times. The hour of evil under the Third Reich &Nazism.

Hers is unlikely to be the last story of such love.

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite."

    ( Nelson Mandela )

    Love is eternal. ( 1 Corinthians 13...)

  • @CommanderUTube Please, do not quote the bible.

  • She loved a man whose people massacred 6 million of her own people and immediate famly?

  • love is an interesting curese

  • it's pretty obvious from the story that while his family may have supported the Nazi party, he thought differently.

  • Didn't she know him as a child and didn't she fall in love with him. Didn't she love this individual before any of the Nazi evil? She fell in love with the person, not a person belonging to a people different from her people. Do you blame all non-Jewish people for the evils of the Nazi Party? The term, "whose people" bothers me---we are all individuals. Don't condemn the individual for the crimes of the group. Isn't this a form of racism?

  • My Great Grandmother was Jewish, from Germany.

  • How can one seperate himself or herself from one's own family? Didn't you view the video where the filmmaker states," Fridle's family all believed in the Nazi Party"? I don't blame all "non_jews" for the 'evils of the nazi party", only the ones who collectively ascribed or had an indifferent view on what was happening at that time. How can one who criticizes fascists or fascism be accused of ''racism"? Would you say the K.K.K. were victims of ''black racism'' in the American south in the 30s?

  • I know that I came from a home that was absolutely insane. My father acted like Hitler and I could not believe how evil and violent and cruel the family was. But I wasn't them. I am me. I am estranged from them. You can seperate from one's family. Why should I be blamed and tar and feathered with my families evil. I was the scapegoat. I left the family. But I will not be blamed or held accountable for their acts. Many people seperate from evil families and evil systems.

  • I don't know what experience you have had with the Catholic Church, but I pray that you come to realize that your judgment of "pomp and vanity" is unfounded. The "leaders" of the Church are the greatest servants among us.

  • I do pray for my family but I will never be around them. Why do I pray for them? What else can I do? I pray that maybe they will change and their hearts will be changed. I pray that they do not hurt other people. I pray that God intervenes.

I also pray for the children, the animals, the people and I pray that people are kind and have courage. It takes courage to walk away from a family system. It means you are all alone in the world. People like you condemn us and our own family hates us too

  • o_o

  • "They began arresting people believed to be enemies of the new order..."

    This can happen again.

  • He was a lucky man.

  • We will never get that again, will we, the writing of love letters on real paper that grows old & kept neat in boxes. I can only begin to imagine what gems of genuine emotion & yearning are stashed away in those little black boxes. Is it just me or am I right in thinking that it is just not the same with text-messages & emails? Well, maybe I am growing old ...

  • Mr. old-fashioned person, you can still write to people. But most will choose newer technology because it saves time and makes life better and less boring.

  • @rasmussen418

I love writing letters and I know people still do it but we are living in a time that you only give kisses on facebook and only say I love in text not in person. I also write in the computer cause is more easy, yes. But I prefer on paper is has the message look I care about you and I took from my time to send you a letter.
