@Gospel969 The last part of the song is not from a movie. They're vocal transcripts of speeches made by Ronald Reagan & Margaret Thatcher during the mid- to late 80s. They were both right-wing hawks who built their political positions whilst in power around posturing in public against the Soviet threat from the East. This song ridicules their bluster - because, ultimately, it was all about bluff. The USSR had just as much ammunition against them. It was a game. A very dangerous game!

And the biggest reason why the U.S. Constitution is the best (if it truly is) is because it guarantees equal rights and it's amendable. Which means, it allows room for progress. Which is how black people ceased being slaves and both black people and women were granted the right to vote. If you consider both parties and objective news sources (and there ARE objective news sources; declaring otherwise without reason is foolhardy) and you pay attention to multiple news sources, then you'll see the nonsense for what it is. It's not hard to separate fact from ideological agenda.

Although a lot of the news, not all, seems focused on what is happening U.S. but I feel that what is going on over there is going on over here (GB). Well, generally speaking, there are two forms of news media: one that practices (shamelessly) yellow journalism and caters to Republicans, and the more unbiased, objective news that portrays it as it is. There's some left-wing commentary, but generally, Republicans get pissy and childish about objective news and anchors known for winning awards. The far right is focused on ideologies and do not let facts get in the way of pride (see: Palin and Paul Revere).
