God, such a great, great, great album. I actually heard this about a month ago off of my dad's original copy and it just blew me away. 154 is equally and yet entirely differently a work of genius.

I found you because I was looking to sample a bit of the new Swans album. I've looked at about 5 of your videos now; a bit sidetracked. a band that you should review for the sake of a bit of modern exposure that you should know, and if not SHOULD HEAR! is Nomeansno. they have many of the qualities im seeing in your preferences. and they are fucking amazing.

A good starting place for new listeners is the album WRONG.

This is my thoughts that happen in 1977. Rock music became too big for its own good. Something had to make it come crashing down. Punk bands had to strip it down and basically ruin (Ruin in a good way) and distort the sound. A year later, bands like Wire and Joy Division picked up the pieces and started to re-invent music.
