i used to have an Xbox 360, just to get online i was looking at a good £150+ as i need the xbox wireless connecter (£50) the HDD (£50) a years subscription (£50) and a few more things. i realised that with all this plus the £100+ i had already spent on the console itself i could just trade it in with all my games, get a nice carphone warehouse deal and get a PS3 free with all the assets built in. which left me around £100 to spend on games for it and accessories. im so much better off now.

Yeah, but the ting is: 360 has all the features that the PS3 has, except Blu-ray. But, we got HD DVD, and Windows Media Center. Yeah, sure you get free online play on PS3, but on 360, you can chat to your team mates with a head set. Online is better on the 360

As long as you're in warranty, or even paying $150.00 without one....Sony will either fix or replace your PS3 regardless of what's wrong with it. Not saying the PS3 don't have it's faults...but it is more RELIABLE than any other next gen console. Even with the YLOD.
