Please. Deerhoof is my absolute favorite band. And it's not because of Satomi. I mean, look at the live videos. She can't sing in tune. Nevertheless, I love Deerhoof. I agree with TheDizzy550...it's confusing - sometimes Satomi is what makes them awesome, sometimes it's not.

i agree - i wasn't saying that she's the only reason they're awesome, but that if you think that she is expendable then you don't understand her style.

The only thing wrong with Satomi is that she sometimes doesn't sing loud enough live ( or Greg overdrums ...) other than that I love her voice.
