never store ammonium nitrate.. flashpowder is a bad idea to store when its made.. and its pretty quickly to mix some so i just make this amount.. made the most powerful AM yesterday.. i put it in al foil now and i guess its ready to put in my pellet gun and shoot (=< used 2:1 ratio but quite a big amount of red phosphorus it was normal red phosphorus, not palm red phosphorus

let me tell you the most awesome stuff.. first, to make you need ammonium nitrate, copper metal and ammonia :D
second, like.. 0.5 gram of HMTD can initiate 100 grams of TACN :O perfect booster explosive.. eh? :P
and another thing.. it will get even better.. i think at VoD if you add aluminium powder i just succesfully made kclo3/al flash.. 2:3 anyways TACN.. really good and easy stuff.. VoD: around 3500 m/s another tetrammine, TACC with chlorate instead of nitrate.. VoD 4400 m/s and primary
yea.. the annoying thing about this is.. the paper you use is like.. it sucks up goddamn water :O really annoying.. :( but this is definately my most powerful flashpowder ever made (: its kinda explosive.. more powerful than my AM
yes armstrongs mix.. just normal A4 paper.. but the ammonium nitrate gets on it when mixing and there you go 1 piece of hygroscopic paper (: and yea its alot easier to detonate with a bit of magnesium in.. or charcoal (ammonpulver)
when you test these small amounts how much do you make a bunch or only what you just burned?

Yeah ammonium nitrate is pretty hygroscopic.
I've heard of TACN /seen videos, but I don't know much about it and I think it's VoD is less than TATP's. Did you make some?

What paper are you using?
Make a big explosive out of the AN/Mg fp.
AM is Armstrong right?
