  • how can someone dislike this video?

  • former cart drivers are the best sports

  • Just imagine what the guy in the red shirt was thinking at 1:58 to 2:00 min into the video probably holy Shit this is happening infront of me

  • omfg lol that's so funny!!! U

  • .....

  • Yeah, its amazing that he lived after that. the safer barrier and the COT are great. Dale Earnhardt's wreck at daytona wasn't anywhere near as bad. (no saferbarrier and COT)

  • And no HANS device. They all combine for the fact that NASCAR has gone 7 seasons without a driver fatality in any of its national series.

  • @ACDCGunsNRoses22 earnhart had also taken off his HANS device

  • @RNGSR2010 they (NA$CAR) never ran or mandated the HANS when Sr. died. he also ran an open face,

  • imagine how much worse it would've been without the safer barrier

  • yeah

  • I captured Darrell Waltrip's and Mike Joy's comments after Michael's interview at the end of my video. Check it out if you get a chance. Thanks

  • Omg, can you imagine

  • WOW!

  • brumaleon

  • ahahaha i can just imagine him upside down calmly going "god damnit..."

  • clearly he was banging on the steering wheel repeatedly yelling the "F" word.......

  • na, I bet he was thinkin "oh man... there goes my paycheck..."

  • How is this guy still alive. That crash was brutal

  • You Tube commentors are bottom feeders judging by what's below. And learn to spell you morons!

  • Good video!

  • he better go to church this sunday

  • how the fuck isnt he hurt!!!

  • Good video!

  • Nascar is so boooooooooooooring! This is not a sport.

  • ur a fucking idiot, its the 2nd most opular sport in america, only behind football

go suck a cock seriously, im sick of people, morons, who know nothing about the sport or HOW INVOLVED MENTALY AND PHYSICALLY IT REALLY IS

research on how they develop the cars, then watch some videos about the 2007 daytona 500 finish, then make your arguement fag

  • Word

  • you are soooo right ,friend

  • Professional demonstration of responses to interview, amazing after an accident!

  • oo sorry guess i should not have thrown that out on the track, my B homz, and i watched ya race today. and i held my breath for 3 laps that u went around... each lap 33.8 33.8 33.9

    1:38.5

to bad # 21 won tho. GOOD TRY

  • Hey gave thanks to God and thats who made him come out of that crash alive,God gives people the intelligence to build safe cars like that you do not get it any other way !!

  • So by your logic, God wanted Dale Ernhart to die because God did not save him. Is that right?

  • God can't be figured out. He doesn't tell us why he allows things. It is always for good. Eternity is forever. A lifetime passes quickly, even at best.

  • So by your logic, it is good that Dale Ernhart died because God allowed it. Is that right?

  • god controls when people die. During this accident he believed that Michael should be given another chance. In Dale's case god had a reason for his death. It was to follow up the racing dream of the Earnharts! God Bless

  • Great job getting rid of free will.

  • :) !

  • i'm sure the guys working extra hard to keep those cars safe would love to hear someone take all their credit away from them. yay god!

  • I'm not taking away the credit for them! I agree it is the safety of the cars, but I also believe god was there to help Michael when he needed it! Well, i'm watching the Texas ending!!

  • Thank god nothing... this is the work of man. It's a very safe car. If this had happened with the old cars, and he survived, then you could call it a miracle.

  • he didnt even say thanks god im still alive..

  • Well, that doesn't mean he isn't thankful.

  • Praise God... That says a lot for NASCAR safety, the COT and the HANs device...WOW....Your right Thank GOD!!

  • Wow, is it a miracle that he came out without a scratch or what?

  • Thank God

  • Thank God

  • Good video!

  • it was great to see he was okay

  • Good guy!

  • Dude he knows what the fuck his talkin about and he was freakin nice give him a break... car just had somthing like he said he did tell them that the car was acting funny

  • man, that is a real bad wreck. I agree

  • he was walkin' kina funny...he mighta been drinkin.

  • superman on high octane!!

  • This kids just a young buck, maybe he shoulda stayed in the minor league racing a little longer, get a handle on cars and the power.

  • it happens....this kid was on his way to a top 20 finish last week...although its and night between Martinsville and Texas. I questioned his talent, because I never herd of him, but who knows...can't be no worse than David Gilliand

  • I have been involved in the Dodge Weekly series and moved up to the Whelen All American series with some Super Trucks mixed in as well. I can honestly tell you, there are many drivers you have never heard of that could handle these cars, some better than the one's doing it now.

  • ok, so the technology is there for safe cars. when're we going to have them affordable on the roads would be good. Who can do something about it...

  • your a sick fuck then if you think that, it's the close racing that makes NASCAR what it is. Not these horrifying wrecks like these. I cheered when Earnhardt to wreck at the Daytona 500 in 2001, but didn't know he was dead...well from then on I refuse to CHEER or be GLAD to see wrecks like these.

  • lol

  • Wouldn't it be COOL if road cars were that safe!

  • SOOOOOOO.......YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT YOUR "LUCKY DOG" ???.... NASCAR HAS ACCOMPLISHED THEIR GOAL. THE SAFEST RACE CAR. .....HOW HAPPY HIS FAMILY AND THE MWR FAMILY MUST BE.

    Charley

  • that dudes a fuckin boss. definitely not a run of the mill nascar driver. mad props. im glad hes ok.

  • Looks like the Brad Klesolouski(cant spell his name) crash last year at California, except Brad just landed an the safer-barrier and slid to a stop.

  • that reminds me of reutimuns crash at california last year

  • Man the4 COT cars are build hard

  • holyshit

  • Damn, NASCAR got it right. Build the best car of tomorrow. So we can have the best car of today.

  • wtf? what a crash

    thank you god

    thank you COT

  • DAMN! just goes to show how much safer NASCAR has become in the past few years.

  • That looked kinda like Sadler's crash at Michigan when he was with wood brothers.

  • yeah the barrel roll did look like this but Sadler's Michigan wreck can't even compare to this one, he only blew a tire a flipped on the frontstrech, THis was a very scary crash, I actually spit some of my Pepsi out when this happened and I thought he was at least injured but thank god for all the safety features added by NASCAR, 5 years ago, we would have mourn the death of another driver...Thankfully Michael McDowell is ok and he will race on Sunday

  • my god one of the worst i had ever seen, son of a gun, i couldnt believe this

  • This guy is a class act :) Much like Reutimann. That is incredible. 20 years ago, a driver wouldn't have the privilege to talk after a wreck like that.

  • man oh man is he lucky

  • wow....god was with you on that ride!
