I see what you're saying, and it was Dave and Jim. What he was doing was a living color trademark (not that they invented it). It's something that they all did. The extreme emotional shift (especially to being sad or hurt) or the exagerated facial comedy. It just makes the story more dynamic and thus more engaging. And then when they're engaged, make em feel sorry for you...Then...TADA!!!..."Just Joking". We all laugh together, or awkward (but still funny) moment. Keenan, Tommy and Kelly did it
