This game is looking good. Any KH game where we don't have Sora tends to be one of the better games.

Sora is so flat and one dimensional he doesn't compare to other characters like Roxas and Riku and this game seems to be up there with offering characters with interesting struggles that aren't "I smile a lot and am unrealistically upbeat and so long as I believe in friendship crap everything will be fine and because I'm the main character it all works out for me." Sora seriously needs to go.

Actually I agree with you there in KH1 and in COM Sora was surprisingly more human and down to earth like almost as if he himself doubted "believe in friends" ideologies.

Personally I prefer that Sora upbeat and cheerful, its a good contrast to the darker elements of the plot, which do gradully start to effect him so I dont know why your saying hes flat. A character doesnt necessiraly have to be incredibaly complex to be enjoyable or likable either. Besides a dark or angry character wouldnt of worked as the main hero in KH series.

You really don't know that. Disney has done characters who are not just upbeat before like Quasimodo from Hunchback.

Also I don't mind if Sora is upbeat, but I don't appreciate what KH2 did to him. It enhanced his worst atttributes. He's dumber (can't tell Mulan's a chick), immature (for no reason skipped in a circle when we first got him in KH2 with Donald and Goofy), too stupid (needing to be told twice what OXIII wanted) and of course the Riku obsession.

Belle managed to make Xaldin look bad and he's a tough bastard. Kairi couldn't handle a stick like Axel.

In KH1 she gave a pretty tough boss battle. Back when Disney mattered. In KH2 and forward Disney is filler and so Nomura has Maleficent get humped and raped into a pile by Nobody grunts which is actually a great fall from grace.

If you're not an OC in this series you mostly aren't worth anything which is actually kind of sad and disappointing.
