I do enjoy what I get to see where movies are concerned but it is a TOTAL hassle to click n find all the "parts". Why not just do the entire flick in 1-2 uploads? I don't get this ..

This movie shows exactly how abuse goes. A domineering mother (or a very weak one), a child younger than her siblings, the father does this, the mother knows and denies, covers up to protect the family name,,, melissa Gilbert did a good job. The adult abused victim seldom remembers, but dresses dowdy, no makeup, often huge baggy clothes. This movie exposes it and I am glad.

@SusDgs , in some cases, where a father molests his own child(ren), the wife tends to have some kind of dependency on alcohol or pills, but in those instances, it is the father who is dominant, in this case it is the mother. Usually, the mother is in denial, like you said. There is often a certain child that the father seeks out for his sexual abuse, who is usually characterized as the "favorite" - which is what Shari's sister accuses her of being later on in the film. I agree about the movie.
