Assuming a largo 4/4, i agree, the trumpet is too repetitive. Although i like it, and think this problem could be remedied by taking it out of its 'every bar repeat' position. Once every two bars, or four would suffice or - maybe six beat cycled coming in on beat three then beat one respectively. Just a thought.
