  • If this happened to me I'll be crying out of fear. But i"ll just stay fucking calm

  • mother nature ------> i'll give you a free ride!!!! then tell me who demands more

  • Who needs rides when you have mother nature?

  • Wow! That cast member even keeps smiling. Those old monster movies lie. Japanese people NEVER panic.

  • @STRANGEJAMES85 yeah because they get used.I'm live in Japan and today we had an earthquake strong 3 i was scary lol,my wife....not really

  • 0:12 The parade is coming.....

  • Ladies and gentlemen, in case you we defying the laws of gravity and floating for a few minutes, we've just experienced and earthquake.

  • they have no idea what will happen

  • sounded like everyone was laughing

  • It was said that sewerage gushed out the manhole covers all over the Disneyland Park.

  • These people are just so efficient, if such a thing was to ever occur in england most people would kill themselves from panic attacks!

  • they were pretty fast to make such a *proper* announcement in multiple languages on the speaker system. i was suprised they can get multi-lingual announcers on the speakers that fast.

  • wow they have announcements for earthquake procedures. really good to see that they are prepared

  • HAARP is scary motherfucker.

  • Really proud of japan, they stay calm, not worried, and help each other...i cry watching this...japan, you guys are STRONG

  • Oh, AWFUL!!! Poor people, poor park

  • This videos going to give me nightmares.

  • Also the Disney company is donating over $3 million to relief efforts in the company which is another great move.

  • Maybe it's a very stupid question, but do someone have an audio file with the english message?

".....We have just experienced an earthquake...."

  • @scarface0359 Interesting: I was just thinking the same thing.

  • the earthquake just seemed to be just another amusement ride for the guests, thanks for the staff

  • also, please be watchful for falling debris, trees, cracking sidewalks or streets, flying mickey or minnie mouses. on behalf of DisneyWorld and Mickey and Minnie Mouse, thanks for visiting and please come again!!!

  • @dinan545bmw What is your problem?

  • @leethehunter Yeah, until you realize that a tsunami just destroyed a large part of your country and killed your family members.

  • In Japan they are used to earthquakes, but not at this magnitude so they knew something was wrong immediately. Here in the US, we don't have constant earth tremors so it would be no surprise if we panicked. We don't have the experience nor the preparations the Japanese do.

  • Just read that the parks will be closed for the next ten days. There are still a few thousand guests there, stranded due to the ruined transports, the parking lot flooded and the sad fact that some come from areas that no longer exist thanks to the tusnami.

  • The Japanese mindset never ceases to amaze me. If this had happened in California, I dare say you'd be seeing people running left and right but they take this pretty calmly, the cast members right on top of things keeping order. Goes to prove how this nation will bounce back from all this realtively well.

  • You go dad!

  • i wouldn't mind being stranded at Disneyland lol

  • Didn't this place get flooded?

  • @killjuicybob i hope out Anahiem CM will be as calm.... the guest...highly doubtful

  • I love how all the people stayed calm. I can just imagine in the USA it would have been out right panic and chaos. Good on Disney and the cast members.

  • Well done TokyoDisney for looking after everyone and making sure everyone was okay and safe.

  • Thanks for the video David.

  • Well. I think that you found the best place in Japan to be for that aweful earthquake! A nice, open area at Disneyland! I love how calm everyone was. I cringe to think how people would react in that same situation at Disneyland in California....

  • i hope Ariel is okay!!!

  • I saw that the camera was shaky, but no earthquake.

  • @loudog6969 I don't think an announcement would have gone off if it wasn't an earthquake. That was an earthquake 100 miles from the epicenter.

  • The dad holding his daughter was just AWWWWW

  • @LeClassics There you can see there are still good things in life to fight for, i hope they are ok!

  • Kudos to the cast members who remained cool and calm during this disaster, as well as taking care of the guests and keeping them the top priority.

  • @koutesu Yes, I am a Cast Member and our top priority is our Guests safety. Thank goodness no one was hurt!

  • @koutesu awwwwwwww, thumbs! /s

  • Did people slept at the Hotels?

  • How was Tokyo Disneyland? I have heard it is absolutely AMAZING!!!!

  • WOW!!!! This must had been so scary!!! How did Disney take care of the situation? Were people freaking out?

  • @TheHunterbear They usually shut down all the rides and make sure that no major damage has been made to the buildings OR the park guests. Then once they give the "all clear" they just let people back onto the safe rides lol (I don't live in japan but I've ad a good experience with the ones in California lol)

  • @rcfan042 oh wow. I thought they would close the whole park. I have never experienced a earthquake and i usually go to Disney World so i am use to hurricanes, not earthquakes.

  • @TheHunterbear wELL I mean don't get me wrong if the park is severely damaged they'll close the park down for like a while lol

  • @rcfan042 There is no severe damage but the resort will be closed for who knows how long. It even says that on the Tokyo Disney Resort website.

  • @TheHunterbear well i guess that is what they do if they have a big earthquake! lol

  • @rcfan042 Well hopefully if the parks are closed for awhile Disney will take advantage of the time to do some good stuff in the parks (not that there is anything wrong with it now). I have also heard Disney is handing out bonuses to the cast members of Tokyo Disney and that they are donating money to the red cross.

  • @TheHunterbear awww that's so nice of disney! :)

  • @rcfan042 I know right. Disney is awesome!!! Or is it the oriental land company thats awesome since they run Tokyo Disney? IDK, but all that matters is what they are doing is great!!!

  • @TheHunterbear oh yh! lol :)

  • @TheHunterbear Thats because the roads are destroyed.

  • @TheHunterbear From what I've been reading @ Miceage, about 70,000 people across the whole resort was just stranded at the resort because the train line can't operate, and so they've been sheltering people in restaurants and stuff. From what I've heard, they have been feeding people and providing drinks. I read elsewhere that unless you can walk home, you pretty much have to stay where you're at already.

  • @koutesu Well i cant think of a better place to be.

  • @TheHunterbear This is Japan not America. The people there don't necessarily "Freak Out", they are calm and controlled outwardly. When they do freak out outwardly, you should be very assured that danger is afoot.

As you can see in the video the people (the men in particular) were very concerned. Anyone that has lived in earthquake country you know when there is a big one, even when it is far away. You can tell that they knew something was not right.

  • @Michaeldair Oh. I know if something like this happened where i am from people would be "freakin out" since earthquake NEVER happen here.
