God isnt going to do the something for us that is impossible for us to do. We can get over diseases, so God allows us to cure, and get over diseases. We can't regenerate our limbs so God isnt going to give them back to us. God never said he would heal amputees, because he didnt promise that everyone will live with all 5 limbs{including the head.} Notice God doesnt make empty promises. And VFX said "If you cut your own arm off..."

The problem I have is not simply that God doesn't heal amputees, but that VenomFangX's posture was that somehow amputees were just getting what they deserved.

His point about people cutting their own arms off is not really relevant, because most amputees don't remove their limbs just for the fun of it... to tell them, "Well, maybe you shouldn't have cut your limbs off" is not applicable, and displays a certain callousness toward their plight.

The point of the original question was to address claims that God, rather than simply allowing people to heal, is constantly intervening on people's behalf, miraculously curing them of all manner of serious ailments, so why are amputees NEVER healed?

An answer like, "I don't know" would have been sufficient, or even the proposition that God does not intervene under a desire to allow events to take their natural course.

To say "because they had it coming" is a horrible answer.

Yes he WILL heal you, I prayed for a new leg when i was young and it was given to me. And having a fake leg is just like getting a new leg, so to end this that is being healed. Good questions. i meant my 1st fake leg, I lived in an orphanage, and we had "accounts" and my parents didnt leave me no money for medical things, so i dont know how in the world i got that leg,but i prayed every day that i'd get one when i was little. I was born with 1 leg, not no legs.I probably do deserve my leg back, but i dont want it back. I know that might sound weird, but my community pitched in and got me a bluetooth fake leg. Even better than a human leg. God never said that everyone would be born with 2 arms and 2 legs. They always involve something that might have happened or got better by itself anyway. Not one limb has ever grown back. If it does, it will be because of a miracle of science and medicine. As a Christian myself, I was totally appalled by the lack of compassion on Venom's part one this..though not surprised!
