Thanks, Keni. Yeah, he did to give me an idea of where he was taking it but he still wasn't happy with the sound. He's still tweaking the configuration until he finds something he likes. For that reason, I've kept quiet about the stuff he's been sending me so far. I'd be happy to post what he's done but he's not satisfied yet.

Yes, I understand this fully. Darren from backporchmojo and Jim from cigarcitycbg are builder friends of mine. They are both excellent builders. Constantly exploring and improving their products. They are kind enough to supply me with their creations to take out for a test drive. Everthing has not been a straight line to the finish for them or me, but this is how we all grow. It is like they say, you got to break some eggs if you want to make an omelette. LOL Thank you for your candor. Enjoy

Yeah. I don't think he's having any issues with the guitar's playability. I wouldn't ship something that didn't sound or feel right. I think right now he's working on finding the exact amp/effects setup that he wants to match the pickup I put on it. He's doing a lot of experimenting right now with a Leslie rotating speaker and coming up with some really cool stuff but he just wants to polish it now.

No, I didn't mean to imply you or any of my other builder friends are producing anything that doesn't cut the mustard, but anything worth doing takes time and research to get it to meet your expectations. I personally like acoustic instruments. Electric guitars are definately intimately connected to the amp. Actually this is no different if you use microphones to sound re-enforce your acoustic. Basically I am quite ignorant of all the intricacies of amplification. LOL Enjoy.
