great looks? the things fuckin hideous. if you are going to make a car/truck like this, dont base it off a car, make it its own, because when you see this, you think G8, and expect to see a normal coupe, but then you see a truck bed and it automatically turns you off. and it looks like the bed isnt very big, useless and ugly, good job GM, u might sell 1000 of these in a year.

They should be selling this particular model of the ve ute as an alternative to coupes, not 'trucks'. It's basically a sports car with a tray and towing capacity, full stop. Why don't bring out the real workhorse of the range as well and sell them side by side to the different competing market segments?

How do these morons end up running these companies? No wonder they're all going broke, car makers who can't market cars.

this is truck design that has been around for a long time in australia. we are far behind in america. the holden ute maloo looks and drive better than the pontiac. check it out. holden ute maloo.

I think you mean WASTE of time, or maybe you meant you cant fit in the seat with your WAIST line....... either way, Its based on a VE Commodore Holden ute from here in Australia. We send them over to you guys who then badge them as Pontiacs, and change the front end styling. They look awesome with the American styling on them. We love the American engine, Hopefully you guys will love our Utes!

if i made alot of money i would buy the sedan, this (ute), and the coupe but like the majority of americans, can't afford to go out and buy new of the floor vehicles. we all are not big money making ppl like what is protrayed.
