Yes, they did really fuck up when they used pyrotechnics.I'm sure it does way heavily on them. I know nothing is going to bring those people back. As hard as it is we need to move on.

They were touring about three or four years ago, and I even had my ticket for Baltimore, then the tour was cancelled. Never found out why. I would love to see them live again - seen 'em twice (88 & 98). Met Jack Russell outside the tiny Daytona's club in 98, while he was smoking a cigarette outside the tour bus - very down to earth and nice to the fans. They just put out a new album.

Lots of bands used fire pots in clubs in the 1980's, they work better with high ceilings. Yeah they were dangerous, and we were probably crazy for using them. I had my first brief meeting with Great White in Colorado Spring in 1987, then again at the Royal Grove during their 1994/1995 Everywhere Twice tour. Memories dim in the haze of drinking, electric hot women in short leather skirts and other band related activities. Turning up the music -- thanks for posting this, its excellent.

Yeah. They thought they were in an arena and used too much pyro (even local law prohibited the use of pyro) and caught the ceilings on fire. These pots burn at somewhere around 30,000 degrees and were using this stuff in a club. Complete stupidity on the band's part to even consider using that kind of pyro in a club, or even bother into looking into ordinances, and for not using common sensein that kind of situation. I used to pack pyro and that stuff can fuck you up if its not done right.
