  • The Station Master works very well from 40m upwards.

    The higher than normal UV levels 'down under' destroys almost all other antennas especially them FRP radome types but not the trusty old Station Master.

    Double pop rivet the matching coil connections,reterminate,Use non ferrous connectorsLanacoat and seal off the coil tap point Lanacoat all slip joints then sealed off with self amalgamating tape and use stainless screws and hardware this antenna will last for years.

  • Hmmm exposed coil. That wouldnt last too long here in Indiana with the winters we have, LOL!!!

  • @TheZeke1974 that antenna u saw with the exposed coil is made to withstand the weather, so it would be fine. im from northwest indiana, so i know about the winters, lol. :) i hate snow!! grrrrrr!!!!!  lmao.
