i suggest going to medium and playing some easy songs then once you get to tier 3 go back to easy and try again. you'll have better endureance, beat, be able to make your foot kick seperate from your hands. thats what i did with run to the hills on hard i went to expert played a few songs got better and was able to do rtth. No, I broke combo/multiplier around 1:45. I hit one of the pads or the pedal when I wasn't supposed to. No note turned red and scrolled past the bottom of the screen, so I didn't actually miss a note. And the results page still says 100% notes hit. I'm tired of having to explain how you can hit 100% notes, have it say you hit 100% notes, and still break your multiplier and streak. If anyone else wants to keep on about how this isn't really 100%, I'm not going to argue anymore.

No cheat or mod was used. I hit 100% of the notes in that song, every note it asked me to play. The reason I didn't FC it and the reason you see the score multiplier break is that I also hit some notes that it did not ask me to play. When you hit a note when you're not supposed to, it breaks combo and multiplier, but does not subtract from your percentage of notes hit, as you techinally did not miss a note. This is similar to what's known as "double-strumming" or "overstrumming" in Guitar Hero.

At any rate...I finally finished this song on easy...I had finished all the other songs on easy, and was going to show a friend how much the song kicks my ass...ended up actually finishing it...it wasn't pretty, got 3 stars and 74%.
