  • I am from korea actually..She is good..really good..nut she need to practice some of the accents of korean.. LOL !

    한국 화이팅!

  • It's not the girl but the boy who speaks fluent korean. The girl is good but has inaccurate pronunciation. But the boy seems to has perfect accent.

  • how come their Korean sounds so native?? just curious as they really sound like Koreans!!!

  • @cpydiana they must be growing up in korea; also they are in korea in the video and the girl talks about korean schools, so I assume she lives in korea. no wonder her korean is good if she grows up with it.

  • there conversation is so stale >_>

  • the guy's korean damn

  • Koreans and their fascination about anything "foreign" makes me laugh.

It's true. They are the "hermit kingdom"

  • @ConceptVBS that's North Korea dumbass.

  • @joshybumboshy

If you know the Korean history, you wouldn't be saying that, dumbass.

Look through the Korean history, prior to 1900's. See what Korea was labeled as.

  • @ConceptVBS Shut up go eat a dog u korean

  • @joshybumboshy

I see you that you are conceding. I win.

  • @joshybumboshy

I wouldnt be Korean if I were bashing them now would I?

    Another dumbass on the interweb.

  • @ConceptVBS You try too hard dumbass. I win. Forever. Good game.

  • @joshybumboshy

Oh so you must be one of those...

  • @ConceptVBS Lol are you bi-polar or something? All i see is mean comments from you on your own videos lol. Haha stop trying to act tough on the internet cause ur a pussy in real life

  • @joshybumboshy

    I'm not mean. I'm a nice person :)

  • Why arent other people amazed at Asians fluently speaking another language?

Korean isnt that hard you know.

In fact, its deemed as one of the easiest languages to learn by linguistics scientists.

  • If you live in a country for many year, you get to speak their language.

What is so "amazing" about that?

  • AWESOME! You guys' level is so high! Almost like native Korean! Especially dude! Is he Korean? He doesn't look like Korean.. Anyway his pronunciation and expressions are just like Korean.

  • i think she lives in korea :D

  • 이 정도는 신기한게 아니라 무섭다;

  • 참 잘했어요~!! :0

  • I REALLY wish that my parents would've thought to teach me a different language when i was younger. :( your brain is able to learn it a lot easier and faster when you're young. NOT FAIR. []:

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW AMAZING *__*

  • Holy cow!!! I thought a boy who speaks in Korean in background was Korean boy until his face was shown until later. Man, he speaks just like Korean. I'm wondering if he can speak his own language? Anybody, please, tell me.

  • They are just korean...

  • forget the girl--anybody notices the arabic guy's korean?: now that's what i call a "fluent korean"--since when everybody started speaking in korean??--this is kinda y people r going nuts over all this--not bcz people r monkeys,GodoftheChimps.

  • @mutsusho I said the same to myself, even before I saw the vid.

  • Maybe she IS korean

  • holy shit. how can she speak korean that fluent? its perfect

  • Oh god, not just the girl, the entire group! Is this how it is when i speak... say portuguese? Maybe I should start studying again..

  • if you learn a foreign language before 9 years old, you can speak it fluently without an accent because your brain isn't hardwired yet. As an adult, singing the language helps a lot with the accent

  • Russian kid is like look he's filming

  • Russian kids at the back xD

  • It's great that the kid knows another language but it's really not amazing. If she grew up in Korea, she should obviously know the language, no matter what skin color she is. It's just like saying, it's amazing to see a korean child speaking english. What's the differnece?

  • She's obviously not completely biligual because she's got an accent and uses some awkward wording. But that actually makes it more impressive...that she speaks SO fluently when it's not a native language for her. AMAZING!

  • omgggggg i spoke korean when i was 5 but forgot it as i became progressively better at english ><

now i'm "pro" at english, and a giant nub at korean.

    I'M A BAD KOREAN ):

  • I don't know how to explain it, but there is something intriguing about someone who looks "very different" than the language he/she speaks.

I mean like here, Caucasian looking girl speaking fluent Korean, or Korean speaking Arabic. I mean someone who stereotypical look very different than the language. Of course South Eastern Asians speaking English is something common and normal bc we see it all the time, But someone who looks very Arabic speaking Icelandic, that is intriguing! Why? I don't no!

  • @azmirreader Exactly, i mean i see her right now, like, where is she from?? Is she real?? Amazing

  • I'll be as fluent as her someday ^^

  • 와~ 나 한국인인데... 나보다 더 잘 말해... 우와~

  • gaw, korean & russian are two language's i'd die to learn. but french first ! keheh

  • WHAT THE......im a korean born overseas and i am no way near at this level....a black guy and a white girl speak korean better than me with no accent....so sad.

  • @kkabline94 i envy them

  • хехехе прикольно, это, похоже, русские:) Потому что часто проскакивает русская речь, например в самом начале парнишка сказал "осторожно, нас снимают!":):):) funny, it seems that they're russian. 'cause you can hear a russian speech, for example in the beginning guy said in russian "you filmed, be careful" .. sorry for my english.

  • 와우~~ 대화에도 감정까지 실려서 대화를 하시네!! 와~~ 느낌이 색다르네요!!

  • It's not hard to impress people on youtube.. they are like monkeys.. one little magic trick and they think you are the "Great White Savior". First thing, like many people have stated.. 1. If you have been raised in a country, you generally will speak the language (unless you just don't give a fuck). It's not magic.. it's adaptation. Like animals, you adapt or die. Secondly, It's not some enigma code.. You can learn a lot of languages fairly easily if you really have the desire.

  • @GodoftheChimps TRUE!

  • @GodoftheChimps One detects a hint of envy here. Maybe you should start learning a new language - that is if you're not too busy being a trenchant, insightful evolutionary biologist and just plain masterful intellectual.

  • @GodoftheChimps And also Korean could be this girl's native language, in which case this isn't impressive at all. That would be like people being impressed that I know English (my native language). People just assume it isn't her native language because she's white (which is a form of racism).

  • @GodoftheChimps I am more impressed because it's "rare" to see White people speaking Korea, not because I am surprised at their ability to learn a language.

  • @GodoftheChimps yeah but its not common to see a european person, let alone a little girl, speaking a language from a country she is not. its not like you walk up to any korean person and they speak perfect german or something.

  • @PhilipEWarren how do you know she isn't a born korean

  • @PhilipEWarren What are you talking about? Any educated European is at least bilingual...

  • Comment removed

  • @GodoftheChimps lmao, i don't know why but I laughed so hard when you said (unless you just don't give a fuck) an image of a hobo pop into my head so i guess that's why LOLLLLLL!!!!

  • Pedophile alert

  • @shinlord00000 its a family.

  • on one hand, i am impressed. but on the other, i don't get what the big deal is... it seems to me (from watching the other videos) that she has been raised in korea, so it's pretty natural for her to pick up the language, especially at a young age. what's the difference between that and a chinese-australian kid who speaks fluent chinese and english or a mexican-american kid who speaks fluent spanish and english?

  • German or Italian class will more likely make me feel like that I'm more races than Japanese because I am Korean.

  • aww she is lucky :( i wish i could speak korean :(

  • @sunnybunny104 then you should learn it.

  • Being bilingual is such a great skill. I speak English and French fluently as my first two languages. Unfortunantly I wasn't really raised bilingual by my parents (who mostly speak English now adays) so I had to practice on my own with old friends.

Learning Korean is a challenge, but guys, coming for experiance, if you work hard it's possible !!! haha XD

  • korean language sounds so nice, better than german. btw. I'm asian and i speak fluent german. lol

  • @Gizmo501 na danke ;-; aber irgendwie haste recht....

  • Ella es buena

  • I'm just gonna drop my child in some random country I don't belong to -_-;; raise him/her up there

  • Guh~ I wish I was bilingual.... My mom wanted my grandma (who speaks fluent Spanish) to only speak to me in Spanish, so I would learn Spanish when I was young as well, but she couldn't 'cause then we moved. T.T And that's how all my friends learned both Spanish and English. (At my middle school we have a lot of Hispanic students.)

But now I want to learn Korean. xD

  • why didn't they teach us foreign languages in the 90s ?! Man , I'm jealous. Stupid .

  • I just don't know why I have this idea about Korean/Chinese/Japanese languages

It seems to me unbelievably difficult and it sound like saying numbers rather than words.

I know they are different, but to my ears they all sound the same, sorry.

I just want to know is there individual letters that when put together make words as it the case in English? Or are they just symbols instead of alphabets?

  • @azmirreader

Depends on the language. Korean has an alphabet which consists of sounds, and you stack the symbols together to make up a syllable, which make up a word. There's also borrowed Chinese characters that may or may not be used. In Japanese there is kana which have symbols for different sounds, but they are not stacked. There are also characters. Chinese only has characters which you just have to learn. The more you are exposed the easier it becomes to understand.

  • Why are people so shocked by this? Its 2011... Welcome to the 21st century lol

  • What's so impressive about she speaks korea.. Just because she has blond hair hair white skin doesn't mean she isn't raised in Korea.. She is obviously being raised in Korea since she was a baby...

  • @Chibikise12 It's not so much that it's impressive. i think almost everybody recognizes she was born and raised in korea. it's more the novelty of it. yeah, i've seen my fair share of non koreans learning korean, but they have an accent. hell, i have an accent because i suck at korean and my parents are immigrants. it's just badass seeing a white person speak korean with a korean accent because that just doesn't happen. it's like watching an old asian speak fluent english. it's just.. wow!

  • @KalbiKing Haha... You can speak korean? Cool! I only can speak "annyeonghaseyo, annyeong and gamsahabnida" xD I speak japanese but it has some Chinese accents in it. LOL...

  • Fluent ? O_O xD

  • they're russian)) 0:21, 0:53, 2:18 russian speaking. I'm a russian.

  • Soon or later foreigners will b in korean bands...

    and i CANT WAIT!!!

    ^_^

FOREIGNERS PLZ MAKE KOREA MORE MULTICULTURAL!!!!

  • @KoBred1 nickkhun in 2pm came from my high school. i know for a damn fact he's not korean. lol.

  • lool all of your videos are just you "bragging" that u and your family can speak korean fluently..when obviously you have lived there for a long time/grown up there...don't get me wrong that is very cool, but it isnt THAT strange for white people to live in asian countries..its actually becoming more and more common.

  • LUCKY!!! I will NEVER get to her level at this rate!!!

  • SOOOOOOOOOOO JEALOUSSSSSSSSSSS..that girl better hide from me or else......lol

  • i'm really jealous

  • im REALLY curious right now, are they attending a foreigner school in korea? i've been searching for those in my stay at korea, (high school), and im deeply intrigued/ surprised on how fluent they are! can you please answer this question, and give more info? i'll be really really delighted!

  • guys...chillax......just cuz she doesnt look asian doesnt mean she HAS TO HAVE KOREAN AS A SECOND LANGUAGE. she cudve grown up in Korea..... -_________________-

  • People realize...that some people...even if they're not "Asian" can live in Asian countries and grow up in them...and the learn the language perfectly....wow people...

  • я завидую белой завистью!

  • That looks like an indian guys speaking korean next to her, and her brother behind

  • Comment removed

  • @pockynerd ...............

  • That girl kinda sounds like she speaks russian more than korean

  • I AM JEALOUS!!

  • who are you guys?, i mean, were you all born there or just live there and learned the language?

  • wow, I'm so envious that they can speak perfect Korean :))))))))))))

  • even though i didn't really find the content of their conversation that interesting i still watched till the end of the video because it was just cool how naturally they spoke korean. the guy on right has superb pronunciation

  • Just how long has she been learning korean.....shes korean....

  • If I was born in Korea, raised by people who spoke korean, I would be able to do this too. damn parents.

  • If this little girl moved to the US from Russia (or what ever her nationality) and she was speaking great english....there wouldn't be a video.

But put this same girl in any other non english speaking country and have her speak fluently and it's a fucking miracle to people! The amazment is just extreme.

If anyone spent years at a time in a foreign country and made an effort to communicate you'd be just as fluent.

Only difference is that children learn at a much faster rate.

  • @ScandalizeMyName Dude, I kind of agree. It kind of annoys me how people consider learning English to be the norm, and then learning any other "secondary" miracle to be an incredible anomaly of society. -eye roll- If people just made sincere efforts, then everyone could at least be bilingual...even if you don't live in the particular country, you can still access external resources to learn the language. (I'm learning Spanish & Korean & currently speak 2 Indian langs. w/ English, so I know...)

  • @ScandalizeMyName Oh, whoops, meant to say "secondary LANGUAGE" not "miracle" lol!

  • wait..how? all of them??

  • I hear Russian in the back :)

  • I'm learning Chinese at the school I'm going to, but I wish I was learning Korean because I love K-pop and also because Korean is less complicated...

  • GEEZ WTF IM KOREAN AND CHINESE AND CANT SPEAK CRAP! I SO ENVYY YOUUUU in a good way :)

  • 완전 잘하시네요..

  • These kids were probably born in Korea or something, because in order for you to have an accent you have to be around prople with that certain accent.Everytime I spend time with my grandmom (who's Korean) when I come back home like after a month my mom would always say that I have an accent.

  • wait, the guy sitting next to that girl is korean rite?

  • How did she learn

  • lol, she's better than me. My pronounciation is waayyyy off and my friend says I sound so American xD

  • @sleepingcoo

    What does "WTF" mean?

  • You guys know it is a language, right? It's not a secret code.

  • wow! She's so good ...I wish I could speak korean that good....I'm learning for 7 months already...it's hard...

  • I am utterly amazed. I am Korean and I don't speak it anymore. I am so ashamed. : ( I just bought a Korean language book to relearn it. The accent is perfect.

  • awesome!

  • How did this happen?

  • Personally as a korean, i have to admit shes got some korean speaking skills, awesome

  • The guy has a perfect accent, and the girl has a very small accent. Did he grow up in Korea?

  • How did she learn Korean?? :D I wanna learn Korean so bad. ^^

  • there are many russian at korea, i've seen them when I've visited Seoul.

  • I'm so jealous.

I will never forgive my parents for not raising me as bilingual (in any language)

  • @Newnewmodel I completely agree.

  • @Newnewmodel It's never too late to learn!

  • @smiggle98 I agree! That's why I'm studying Japanese and Korean at university. Alas, no matter how much I study, I will never be as fluent as these girls could be ):

  • @Newnewmodel I speak 5 languages, but I wish Korean was my first.

  • @ricorine

    ur funny... :)

  • oh my ! ! Sooo

  • i envy her ):

  • @sleepingcoo im on the same boat.. born and raised in canada... it changes a lot...

  • Korean is obviously her primary language.

She takes English as a second language.

  • @hellokitty2007 probably not, her second language is korean, because she has a lot of accent, so if it was her primary language, she would speak as good as a korean... but who knows...

  • @hellokitty2007 also her brothers can speak korean? uwaaahhh.. i envy them !

  • @hellokitty2007 wrong, they are russian lol

  • @ricorine aye speek floowent american beecuz aye wuz rayzed in american. ohbomba iz thuh best prezidunt of american.

  • She is the Russian girl!

Other children in the bus speak in Russian!

  • -

I really want to learn ^.^

  • I hope she's like me and that's being biligual. Which Korean and English. I also know few words in Spanish.

  • ok so she has like a slight foreign accent but she sounds like a korean kid. thats really good!!!!!!!!!!

  • @wakaruyoo haha, the funny thing about that is, it doesn't matter if you were born in korea, koreans are still gonna look at you weird because you aren't korean and you speak their language at a native speaker's level.

    |the kid|

  • @TheNewGuy03 well they're not going to look at you "weird." koreans are usually "surprised" and fascinated that foreigners can speak korean b/c it's a hard language to speak. they don't look at the ppl weird. they actually like foreigners who can speak korean well
