The town didn't kill anyone it's not a conscious being that torments people for it's amusement. James killed Eddy, Angela more than likely killed herself. Also the otherworld can be positive i.e the note in the hospital where the doctor talks about how the patient is happy in the "otherworld" and some of the cult members find the otherworld pleasing so it all depends on the person entering.

The Water ending isn't factually the canon ending. If anything, the Leave ending is by far the most logical and emotionally satisfying with James honoring Mary's last wish. The Water ending has its merits, there's a very creepy detail many miss in Neely's Bar that forebodes it with "If you really want to see Mary again you should just die. But you probably won't be going to the same place as Mary, James." written in blood. So many visual details like that in SH2 that go missed.

Leave is the best ending, as James escapes his fate and leaves SH. But, if I recall correctly, it's not the canon ending...

Question for other fans of SH2, the Dog ending is counted as one of the 4 endings, right?

This is a really good Valentine's gift, but also a sucky one, since this wonderful LP just had to end on a day of love </3 This is ending is so sad! But there's still something that bothers me. I really don't get just what the town of Silent Hill is. It seems like its different for every person, like the first game, its some cult. The second, its some wife. The fourth is some killer. I'm confused :/

That's a pretty good ending Kat, a pretty good one. Can't wait for the next LP, and if you do play the third game. . . I would beat the first one before ou do so the storyline of Silent Hill 3 makes more sense!

There's also a depressing ending and a evil ending.

The two other endings are themed around Angela and Eddie and their outcomes so I'm guessing this was meant to be the true ending for James.

The evil ending is great because it gives a totally different perspective on James as a character.

I think the other endings will only become available after your first playthrough. And also, are you going to make a reaction video on one of the secret endings? Or have you already spoiled yourself? It'll be really amusing to see your first time reaction to that ending!

@icecreammouth I'm not sure. The ending depends on some of the items in the inventory and what you do with them. I'm not gonna say what exactly, cause it would spoil the fun. I actually got a different ending my first playthrough, and I didn't get this one till my second.

Also I LOVE Mary's letter. The voice acting is superb, and I almost tear up every time I hear it. It's so believable and her voice actress sounds like she really getting upset. Heck, she probably is. It's very emotional.
