  • Im not pisst off

  • I guess thats 50 percent true its not like mac dont have the same hardware maybe not awide veriety but morelss the same concept I just think mac op system is much faster with less crap added on

  • for the sake of running a decent OS on decent hardware, DUH.

  • to piss people like you off. only reason.

  • somthing different on a pc?

  • i'll try this on my intel pentium d dual core version cpu (almost idenical to core 2 duo) and see what happens

  • will it work on core i7? i'm a total newbie.. could you please guide me to set it up?

    thanks in advance

  • Probably no. Even if you attempt it through the OSx86 project, the chance of it working is low. Apple's current operating systems, Leopard, can run Core 2 Duo Processors and works on them. Snow Leopard might however be different and my be able to run on the new i7 processor. If you attempt anything on your PC with the i7 it might work only if Snow Leopard will be designed to run on that processor.

  • If you want to get OSx on your PC, you should try it on Core 2 Duo which will raise the chance for installing OSx on your computer and working.

  • One more thing. It has been known that some people can get it to run on Pentium and other processors. For i7 I'n not so sure. Do some research.

  • @madhavan84 it should work just fine.. but it's not all that easy to get it 100% working so know this before you attempt it. a lot of hair pulling lol.. get a usb stick drive (6gig) download iso and use leopard helper to install on usb to use instead of a cd.

  • can I install on a NON-Intell pc b/c I want to try this os on my Toshiba Satelite P305D-S8818 that uses a AMD instead of Intell

  • sorry :(

snow leopard is for Intel only, and currently none have been released for AMD that have been patched.

  • Well I could. If you install a OSx86 distro you could just get some patch for the distro and it might work on your AMD system.

  • how can i insatll this in my pentium 4 processor??? can u make an iso???

  • LOL

Maybe you need a hardware update, or try to Kernel with SSE3 emulation. But, really, your CPU is old, and you just waiting for a emulator/compatible with your hardware.

    :(

  • you need Kalyway 10.5.2 installed on your computer first. it may or may not work, it works on my pentium d dual core :)

  • my proccessor is e4500, it only shows up with one core.. do you know how to fix this?

  • Use DSDT in BIOS or dsdt.aml in root

  • How can I install it in my pc...I have the Snow Lwopard Preview.cdr disk image....Can you help me?

  • what bootloader did you used can we have a guide for installation ?

  • Use PC-EFI v9 (netkas)... In Snow (10a222) dont work yet... But old revisions yes. :)

Use dsmos or decrypt, and SMBIOSEFI. In my case I only use this, and skge for my net.

I use dsdt in BIOS, and all works perfect ;)

  • Well done.

Hi, Do you know if Intel P45 is supported?

  • Other Futures of Snow... Runs in PC to... ;)
