...oh yeh crew, we must have a lot more of this"normal life" on youtube , fast while there is time
~ this is history breaking time; history on top of history; it must be disseminated fast, far and wide friends
=we must trek outwards, if only that there be a record that we tired, we must go forward collectively independent at dogs top speak, if anything is to survive as remedy to the universe, our fastest way there is at communication best speed, send out the signal, time & time again over net!
...ow wow Lt. my first homo sapient created space tune, your great,
~why if you weren't married; eye'd not have to apologized to your husband now !
=just know of your example has revived me to task onward a little further, all you 3rd heaven Nuats ! wow guys my ears are weeping fluid now, much love !
@halfblindwriter parden me for saying this...the bold guy has no hair for floating...but dont you think that something else that she doesnt have and he has is floating around?
@Scimonetti According to the Powell Flute newsletter "Colonel Coleman is the first musician to bring a wind instrument on to the Space Station - other astronauts have taken guitars and keyboards." Not sure about other space programs...
@Scimonetti There have been penny whistles and harmonicas in space before, and at least one Russian crewman has brought a guitar. It will be a while before anyone brings a piano up to orbit!
@marialanger Yes. It's a radical solution (pardon the pun, Latin students, (hint: radix)), but it certainly works. BTW the flute is a Powell Conservatory that Cady bought on the recommendation of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull fame.
Must be such an incredible thing to play with the view that cupola must offer. A short recital would be wonderful from there with its superior acoustics and a mic positioned better (more to mid-length of flute) so we could hear what that instrument sounds like better! Seriously, this would be a precedent setting performance - and with such a good player up there it really should be done. Ms Coleman if u happen to see any of this, it'd inspire in far reaching ways.. music from the cupola!!
the hair.

anyone know why the 2 guys wear 2 watches?
blueminies 10 months ago
@blueminies One for Russian mission control, one for US mission control. Those two time zones are useful to follow, and are also about 8 hours apart.

Good job! Powell Flutes rock!
So it this officially the first musical instrument in space??? Nobody else thought to bring a harmonica or something with them up there with them?
