Yeah, too bad it doesn't work.. I get to the erase background only part but it doesn't work. Still shows white instead of going to the squares.

yeah to bad you dont know how to save as .png

and if you did theres two things that could have happened

1. the freaking background was white and its transparent so you just see what the background color is.

or

2. you just fail. :\

Lol, well whatever, the main flaw with your video was that you had the directions taking the viewer through the tabs up top when most of those tools are on the tool bar. Just made it confusing. And I ended up going some place else and finding the answer.

Is the layer set as "transparent" or "foreground/background color".

hmm i dont really know what your asking.

i dont use gimp anymore i use photoshop but i still remember how to use it. i dont remember me ever using layers in gimp. so probally the foreground/background color but if your confused you can just message me.
