Though it has been almost 30 years, The body of Schwarzenegger was way ahead and far more superior and genuinely manly when compared to todays soft and childish Action Heroes. Jason for sure I say the music is amazing, he looks like a more realistic version of conan, theres more special effects, and they even made it so you get an idea of the same feeling the characters have. While neither the the old nor the new Conan the Barbarian captures the essence of REH's creation, I believe the old one, in spite of Arnold's wooden acting, to be the far better film.

It's simply that John Millius is a far better director. His movie was deliberately paced, laden with symbolism, slowly moving towards an epic climax.

The new film had a few good moments. Tamara was very good, and so was Jason Momoa, but ultimately the script was poor and the direction sloppy and rushed.
