I think you should consider gear ratios aswell. You compare a limousine with a van, they are designed for different purposes.

@tompi88 Wind isnt the prob man!At 100 km/h wind resistanse is too small!The difference is gear ratio slow changes from the gearbox suspention setup and most importantly how the engine produces the horcepower!Here engine emfasises in lower and midle rpm power not in top rpms which are the ones used in an accelaration contest!
