its just locking. both popping and locking originated in california. popping being considered a harder thug style dance like crumping is now. locking was made earlier during the 1970s and was more of a club/ disco style. both have style, both are fresh as hell. respect bro.

this is not the original sound they used because the guys from dance delight they put their own music over the music of the dancers, they do it pretty good but i would love to see all shows with the original sound

GolceaVlad...u shuld study more on hip hop dancing culture...whack ass new gen rappers made that shit up and everyone followed along...if u ask most ppl nowadays wat locking is they wont kno...same with popping...theyre to caught up on krumping and the new whack style which has no flava to it...basically ppl got lazy and didnt feel like locking and popping so they made a new dance which was easy for ppl to learn...it takes the whole art of hip hop dancing out...but watevs.

Actually, I study it for quite some time, 2000 I'd say :). I love popping, I love locking, I do practice them, beside bboyin`, and the fact that hip-hop culture got them as ventricular dances, growing under, doesn't mean that poplocking doesn't exist. It's just that there are very little people that do it.Take David Elsewhere Bernal for an example.Thing is most people are hating a lot of the new things, the no-culture hip hopers, that just go with the "cool" (we all know about them,come on :) ).
