For those wondering why the American brand of capitalism is under constant scrutiny, THIS is the reason. Defenders of the Free Market love to talk about the "great" American meritocracy, but how much "merit" is there in overcompensating CEOs who run their companies into the ground? And what about the rank and file, who get no say-so in what a CEO "earns?"
@BeyondTheSpectrum08 I agree with you 100%. No CEO should be rewarded for failure. and they defend themselves saying they are top talent. Top talent my ass. If you had put a highschool students on the board of Citigroup they would have generated better results. I;m not an American citizen, but if I was, I would be extremely pissed off with this selective socialism.
