@TheMuteAWN it's call reverb... it's so that it sounds more natural with the instrumental background..... when someone is singing in front of you the room create a close space to allow sounds to echo back to you to hear... that's why many people sings in the bathroom bc the reverb affect works best there.

I would say 99 percent of the songs you hear will have a bit of reberb ( echo) on every instrument including the voice. It's like an essential part of mixing process with several many other effects that make a song the way it is. Just for some knowledge. xD
